Excellent, even if "grand unification" theme is suspect.......2005-12-31
This is a book every single US Senator and Representative should read.
The title derives from the reality that illicitly gotten funds create their own momentum as the funds are laundered throughout the world, creating interest, mayhem, and leaving 3rd world countries (preyed upon for weak financial regulations) struggling under massive debt they didn't really incur.
Book Description
Ireland has recently come to the attention to global strategic planners. This report puts these executives on the fast track. Ten chapters provide: an overview of how to strategically access this important market, a discussion on economic fundamentals, marketing & distribution options, export and direct investment options, and full risk assessments (political, cultural, legal, human resources). Book Description
The automotive industry underwent great change in the 1960s and the early 1970s before the gas crisis. The continuing trend toward market consolidation, the proliferation of sizes and nameplates and categories of automobiles, and the "need for speed" characterized this period, which may be loosely labeled the muscle car era.
This is an exhaustive reference work to American made cars of model years 1960-1972. Organized chronologically (and summarizing the market annually), it provides a yearly update on each make's status and production figures, then details all models offered for that year.
Model listings include available body styles, base prices, engine and transmission choices, power ratings, standard equipment, major options and their prices, curb weight and dimensions (interior and exterior), paint color choices, changes from the previous year's model, and sales figures. Also given are assembly plant locations and historical overviews of each model nameplate.
The book is profusely illustrated with 1,018 photographs.

A great organizing book .......2007-10-18
I loved this book. It is comprehensive yet easy to follow.
Got great ideas and solved some of my organizing issues.
Highly recommended for the do-it-yourself organizer.
This Book Will Make You More Serene and More Productive.......2006-01-11
Several years ago, my office disorganization had overwhelmed me. Rarely could I find what I wanted instantaneously--and sometimes I never found the missing items. Besides losing time, I was burning energy, especially as I became more frustrated.
Fortunately, I found a solution. I contracted Monica Ricci to spend a half-day in my office, and suggest the steps I should take to gain control of the massive information I had accumulated but not sorted. To my delight, the plan she devised served me well then, and still does.
That's why I was eager to read Organize Your Office. . .In No Time. I knew I would get additional tips that help me manage my office systematically. Already, I have underlined my favorite definitions and ideas. Examples:
"When organizing your life, remember that anything you can take a few extra seconds to do now, to help you remember or eliminate a step later, is always worth doing! It's always better to invest an extra tiny bit of work in the present because it will pay off down the road in time, money, headaches, or effort saved."
"Clutter is a collection of unrelated objects living together."
"Fear-based saving is a major cause of paper clutter for many people."
In addition to these specific gems, the book offers numerous helpful features: It is very well organized, which we expect from an organizational expert. The writing style is clear and often folksy, such as: "Imagine going into a supermarket, finding the canned food aisle, and discovering that none of the cans had labels." The illustrations, including photos, bring to life the products Ricci recommends.
Organize Your Office appeals to small business owners who work from a home office, and to executives with larger work spaces. The chapters on computer organization and how to streamline your travel will benefit even the most seasoned executives.
Readers will welcome the detailed suggestions, with pointers on the best organizing products to acquire and where to get them.
The time you invest in reading this book could revolutionize your work place, once you implement Ricci's action steps. Soon you will get more done more easily. Isn't that worth a few dollars and a few hours? The Complete Communicator: Change Your Communication-change Your Life!
Great Organizing Toolto use to better Organize your Office.......2005-10-18
Monica Ricci is a great personal Friend of mine. Her Book has helped me organize my office and Life in General. Great Tips!.......2005-09-27
Great tips in this book, that can easily be picked out, even if just skimming through the pages. I like how the chapters are spelled out, written in a pleasant, "talking just to you" style. Monica Ricci breaks down the tasks into do-able chunks, allowing for the different types of people out there. She has a section, in the beginning, that helps one I.D. one's own type, and then uses each of those types throughout the book to suggest how best to deal with the different organizing challenges. I have read the whole thing, but find I continue to pick it up as a reference, using it as a guide as I tackle the next office organizing challenge! It's a keeper.
Great Read!.......2005-09-21
I was looking for something to help me organize my office. As owner of a busy company, I need all the help I can get in keeping things straight. This book was recommended to me by a friend and it was exactly what I was lookging for.
I found it to be very easy to read and easy to implement. The structure of the book was organized (go figure) which helped me fit it into my busy schedule and start implementing recommendations immediately. "Organize Your Office in No Time" is filled with great ideas and easy to understand tips and tricks for organizing my workspace and I highly recommend it.

Function without Fluff.......2006-01-24
This book is extremely practical and to-the-point. The author did well to spare the annoying anecdotes and tedious end-of-chapter reviews or exercises you sometimes find in books like this. All aspects of the home office are addressed, including how to handle your workflow, what supplies to buy, and even what to do if you have children in your home. (Note that the technology tips will naturally be dated.) This is a great book for the starter who just wants to get right down to business, and it also serves as a good reference for the person who is already working from home.
Start Out Right.......2000-07-03
I happened across this book when I was actually in an office supply store shopping for furniture for my home office--naturally the title caught my attention immediately!
I am finding ORGANIZE YOUR HOME OFFICE! to be a helpful guide through this project because it addresses my specific situation--setting up a home office from scratch. This would NOT be the best choice if you've already been working at home for years and need to declutter and rearrange, but for the "beginner" it's a handy checklist of things to keep in mind so you can start out organized and hopefully stay that way. Not a lot of specific details or anecdotes, but a comprehensive outline to keep you on track.

Blah. .......2005-01-13
Can I have my money back? There was little on this tape that was either new or motivating. Also included were things such as time management, how to organize your DayTimer, etc. I was hoping for something that would help me deep clean my home, not my office. It was not helpful for my purposes. Unless you're looking for help at the office, save your money.
EXCELLENT - You can only laugh at yourself !.......2000-06-14
I thought I was beyond repair... but Ab is so humerous and the live tape lets you laugh along with others who are obviously in the same boat. The systems he discusses to de-clutter your life are terrific for someone like myself who just can't seem to get past the clutter of paper both at home and in the office. I am tackeling closets, attics, garages and showing no mercy. I highly recommend this tape for anyone who needs motivation for getting the job done.... which you know in your heart has needed to be done for months/years.
The best material I have come across to get rid of clutter!.......1998-10-11
Ab Jackson is humerous and upbeat in all his seminars/tapes. He makes a bothersome task enjoyable to tackle with many simple and logical tips. "Organize Your Life and Get Rid of Clutter" is perfect for anyone that would like to get rid of clutter and become more organized. He addresses many areas and introduces many 'systems' to help people become more organized. This tape is not only a delight and funny to listen to, but in just one day, I have already began to reduce the clutter in my life. I even found out the "why" behind what caused me to become a "clutterholic"! I give it a five star rating and would recommend it to anyone that would like to improve their organizational skills!
Customer Reviews:
This book literally lets you have your house in your hands!.......2007-07-30
There are a lot of organizational books on the market, some to help you get rid of clutter, some to help you organize your clutter into essential documents on file at your fingertips, some with places to write info about all types of rooms you have leaving lots of pages blank because you don't have certain rooms in your house that other people may have like a game room or sauna, but for the average homeowner, THIS book is all you need.
First of all, you get to 'name' your own rooms so there's no wasted space! You can label the pages in order of the flow of your house, so if your dining room is right next to your living room, the pages can be labeled that way, and the paint or carpet samples for each room will be close enough together in your book so that you're not flipping back and forth all the time. That alone means the book is much more relavant to you than most books on the market & if you want to include exterior features, or landscaping you can DO that quickly and neatly just by writing in the appropriate title on the next page.
The ABSOLUTELY BEST feature is that EVERY page has a big pocket for receipts, for magazine pictures you've pulled showing what you've done or what you'd like a remodeling project to look like, paint chips, photos, etc. For instance, I once found a picture in a magazine of an exterior doorway I wanted, with some modification, to use on the interior of an area we want to remodel. That was 14 years ago. Try holding onto a picture from a magazine for 14 years without losing it or damaging it! I DID, because I knew right where I'd put it -- I'd placed it in the pocket flap on the 'Future Loft' page, where it would eventually be the entrance door to our loft. Trying to tell a contractor how the door I wanted differed from hundreds of other mission-style doors on the market today would have been impossible without that picture to show the details of what I wanted in my door!
On top of the pockets being useful, each pocket has a grid where you can measure off and sketch your room -- you can sketch a floor plan or a wall with a window or several sketches if you want, it's up to you to use it however it will best suit your circumstances. And the pockets are sturdy enough to hold a LOT of loose pieces of paper, samples, etc. I carried a sort of thin sample of a brick around to match a color for a number of months! Now the brick DID cause some wear and tear on the pocket, but just being able to have it handy was GREAT! It meant I didn't lay it down somewhere in a store and leave it there. I reinforced the pocket with some tape and away I went with my brick sample!
If you're insistent on neat and tidy records, you might want to take some posterboard, cut it to fit the pocket, then staple your receipts or paint chips or whatever you decide you want to keep in your pockets to the posterboard so you can have a flipchart of information that you keep in the pocket, in an organized fashion. Pull out the posterboard, and just flip over to the item you're looking for! If you're REALLY anal about keeping things neat, use a photo refill page inside each pocket and slip your samples, swatches or pictures into the photo refill page so that you can pull out just one sample instead of pulling out the whole page if you want to.
My current book bulges to about 6" thick--and that's without the brick sample--because I've used it to keep remodeling ideas I WANT to do at my fingertips! I'm getting a new one now to track what I've actually done up to this point, and to get us through the remodeling we'll be doing this next year -- we're finally to the point financially where we can do most of what we want (I've been told by a couple of contractors that we should just move to a bigger place, but we'll have everything we need right here, once we remodel a few areas!) and I'll have everything recorded as it's done, in my new book, so it will be complete when the remodeling is done.
Eventually I can pass it on to new owners, when we can no longer take care of ourselves here and decide to sell, and it will help them to either freshen up what we did with the exact color code of paint, know the sizes of each space if they want to remodel, or keep track of their own swatches and chips if they decide to remake certain rooms!
The white plastic 'tooth' binding is wonderful because the book lies flat and expands some if you need extra room like I do!
This is the most appropriately named book I've seen in a loooooonnnnggg time -- "house in hand" is exactly what it is and "peace of mind" is what it provides!!!
Great for a New Home!.......2004-03-31
When I first moved into my home I didn't know where to start in decorating. This was long before HGTV, Trading Spaces, or other design shows. This planner was invaluable in helping me get everything together. I was able to take it with me to fabric stores, paint stores, etc. All my swatches, paint numbers and wallpaper samples were together, window measurements were readily available, as well as listings of painters, plumbers, appliance manufacturers, putting everything in one place. When I decided to move, it also helped. All room sizes were listed, as well as information on all appliances, as well as major renovations I had done to the house. My real estate agent said it helped in selling. And now, it's with the new owners.
Incredible Time Saver for Decorating Your Home.......2002-04-26
I bought this book during a remodel of our home. I still have it and use it for all my decorating. The pocket pages are the best for storing samples and the grid design is great for showing your room to perspective contractors. If you take it with you shopping, you will have all your information and color swatches with you for every project. It makes a wonderful gift for a new home owner, or for that first apartment.

Organize Your Stuff.......2007-02-26
I found this book" Organize Your Stuff (The Lazy Way)" very informative, positive, and useful in my own organizing endeavors. I highly recommend this book for organizers and cd clients, and I will continue to use it as a useful tool in my own organizing business. In the future I am looking forward to reading more books and articles by this author, and hope that they will be as helpful and interesting as this book
Organizing for the Rich and Lazy.......2000-07-09
This book does exactly what it purports to do: it tells you how to organize your life with a minimum of personal effort. That sounded great to me, but when I actually read the book, I realized that "the lazy way" meant "hiring servants to do everything." Unless you have a significant amount of disposable income, this book will not be of much help. Ms. Ahlgren's suggestions frequently come down to the same basic message: There is no problem that cannot be solved by throwing money at it. As a young, married professional and student, I cannot afford to hire a housekeeper, a cook, someone to pay the bills, a gardener, and a complete suite of office furniture. If I did, then this might have been a valuable book, but, as it is, I am going in search of something that will help me learn to manage my time without encouraging gross fiscal irresponsibility.
Have fun making order out of your "stuff" with this book!.......1999-07-22
One of the most humorous and clever, yet inspiring books available on turning all of the "stuff" in your life into some semblance of order. Chock-full of time-saving practical tips, the author compares and contrasts the frustrating chaotically disorganized life with one of calm peace, order, and organization. Every single page of this "hand book" is packed with many great techniques that anyone can put into use immediately. A truly necessary book to be placed on your newly organized bookshelf! A mandatory "must read" for those interested in growth and change.
Find time to PLAY!!!.......1999-05-27
In this time when there are never enough minutes or hours to do all we want to we must get smart about this reality in our lives and figure out how to catch a few moments of time for ourselves. Organize Your Stuff is helping me do just that. I have kept thinking....tomorrow I might be able to do...whatever but without some planning I'll just be doing the `work' for the rest of my life. It's the `stuff' that's cluttering my mind as well as my cupboards, closets and desk drawers. I've taken the advice of Organize Your Stuff and sorted, given away and thrown away more than I dreamed possible, and also I'm taking a good hard look at just how I manage my time. This book has given me so many new ideas, many of which are actually FUN! And the real testimonial is that I found the time to write these comments! A great book. You'll love it. You'll use it.
Fun, useful & not-overbearingly-serious!!.......1999-05-25
This book is funny and fun and helpful at the same time. It reads like a good friend who has a cheery demeanor but is going to make sure you finish this project one way or another, and this is a topic where you need that kind of firm---how great that it's charming too---guidance. I can't recommend this enough; it's accessible and so useful and yet not preachy or silly.

Product Description
It's about time! Julie Morgenstern has written an organizing book that covers a new way of looking at the task of organizing effectively without labeling or blaming the person behind the lack of organization. Rather, she says, people who don't organize just never learned how to organize, through no fault of their own--after all, it's not a skill that's taught in school. That said, she gets down to work helping you figure out an organizing system that will really work for you, not a system based on cookie-cutter filing concepts or special storage units. Morgenstern's system begins by laying out the possible reasons for a failure of organization: technical errors (like having a complex organizing system that breaks down), external realities (like not enough space for your belongings), and psychological obstacles (like fear of failure--or success). Then, her Analyze and Strategize steps help create a plan of action based on your needs and goals, and the brief chapter called "Attack: Getting the Job Done" offers basic ideas for making space. The largest section of the book, "Applying What You've Learned," addresses the specifics of organizing workspaces, home offices, living spaces, and storage areas. Each section has a "How Long Will It Take?" box that gives a realistic time estimate, and Morgenstern's "Julie's No-Brainer Toss List" for each area gives the permission and encouragement that most of us have been waiting for to get rid of things we'll never use again. The section at the end, "Tackling Time and Technology," is worth its weight in DayTimers and PalmPilots. Whatever your organizing issues are, you're not a hopeless case, and you don't need special equipment--just a little understanding of the problem and a willingness to plan before diving in.
