Customer Reviews:
How do you know if a Rolling Stocks moves up or down? .......2006-05-08
This book may help you, trader better!
When do you buy? When do you sell?
Mainly focus under $5 stocks.
90% of the stock player's loose money since they have no idea which way a stock will roll next.
They are too emotional to get in a trade at a top and are afraid to enter at the bottom.
This book will explain what to look for and when is the right time to enter a trade and exit a trade.
After reading this book, I made money. Still useful info!.......2006-02-28
It has been over 5 years since I found and read this book. After reading it, I opened an on-line trading account, started following the guidelines in the book (the first part, not Options), and made money. I went on to read other books and trade using other methods. I believe it is working for me because I learned this method first. Now I have run into this listing on Amazon and would like to say it was a great book that opened up a whole world for me, by giving me a safe entry into trading and a method to fall back on in difficult markets. Read this book, read between the lines as well, and add this method to your investment repertoire! I thought since the book is older now, you'd like to read my review, 'cause I am still using what I learned from this book today.
Making $$$ on the ups and downs of stocks.......2004-09-01
Never has there been a better time to utilize rolling stocks than like right now. And by far, Rolling Stocks by Gregory Witt is the best guide on how to profitably use Rolling Stocks.
Some people I have talked with have been dissappointed trying to play rolling stocks but in every case I have found that they picked the wrong stocks. They felt that since all stocks move up and down, just buy a stock on a dip and ride it up. Doesn't work that way.
Gregory Witt offers successful strategies on how to profitably, I repeat, profitably play rolling stocks. Witt makes several points that are worth repeating:
1) Rolling Stocks are more commonly found in the lower price
ranges
2) Lower priced stocks roll faster
3) Lower priced stocks have greater percentage increases
4) Rolling stocks tend to emerge after a stock has fallen from
a higher price level
5) Rolling stocks have a tendency to go up after they finish
rolling
6) Rolling stocks tend to have predictive stochastics
7) Rolling stocks are less likely to be found in large,
profitable companies
Rolling Stocks shows you both how to play rolling stocks and where to find them. Another place to find them is at www.wadecook.org.
Highly recommend Rolling Stocks for anyone who wants to learn how to cash flow the stock market. Additional i nformation can be found in Wall Street Money Machine VOL 1 and Wade Cook's Stock Picking Handbook.
Easy, predictable and duplicatable.......2004-07-11
Everybody knows that stocks go up and down right? But how do you know what the highs and the lows are and how to plat them to make money? Gregory Witt answers that with this excellent book called rolling stocks.
Rolling stocks are actually channelling stocks. Stock market technicians know that certain stocks move up and down within a range. It is predictable, duplicatable and easy to do...when you know how. Gregory Witt provides the know how.
Rolling Stocks added excitement to my dull portfolio and actually turned stagnant equities into cash flow. It's worth a read. Great book.
Let The Profits Roll.......2004-07-07
I really liked this book. This was the first trading strategy I learned and mastered. This strategy and the techniques in this book has made me money. Although I've gotten into other trading strategies, I still love rolling stocks because the concept is fairly simplistic.
Witt's book is well-written without being either too easy or too hard to understand. My book is all marked up with all sorts of little notes throughout. His examples were also easy for me to follow since I also have TC-2000, a technical software.
This book is good for beginning traders on rolling stocks. I even think for seasoned traders this is a good review book.
Book Description
The Book of JavaScript teaches readers how to add interactivity, animation, and other tricks to their web sites with JavaScript. Rather than provide a series of cut-and-paste scripts, thau! takes the reader through a series of real world JavaScript code with an emphasis on understanding. Each chapter focuses on a few important JavaScript features, shows how professional web sites incorporate them, and takes readers through examples of how they might add those features to their own web sites. This thoroughly updated 2nd edition includes new chapters on Ajax, revised appendices, and new examples throughout. Summary sections and assignments close each chapter, making the book perfect for use in college courses or independent study. CD includes code and images for every example, answers to assignments, script libraries for hard-to-program applications, and many useful software programs.
Customer Reviews:
If you're more advanced this book is not for you..........2007-09-01
I bought this book becuase I read several reviews that stated this book would be great for those who are more advanced in scripting as well as the beginner. I did not find that to be the case. The one good thing I will say is that it was clear and easy to read, so if you're new to the world of JS, this book will suit your needs.
a very useful update.......2007-06-13
As someone who learned JavaScript from the first edition of this book, I was excited see what Thau! had in store for the second edition. He did not disappoint! Once again, he explains the most complicated concept clearly, and makes programming a breeze. The new reference section is especially useful. Thanks, Thau!!
Finally!.......2007-06-13
This book was really fantastic. Dave Thau clearly knows what he's talking about AND knows how to explain it clearly to others. This book gets a big thumbs up!
Great Book!.......2007-06-09
I've been reviewing quite a few books recently to use in my JavaScript course that I teach. Finally, I've found a book that explains all the important concepts and does it in a way that's a breeze to understand.
The author has a friendly, relaxing "voice" that puts you right at ease, even with the most challenging concepts.
If you are wanting to learn JavaScript, I cannot recommend this book highly enough.
Good first read--but watch out for the textual errors!.......2007-05-06
This book seems to be written for someone almost entirely new to programming/scripting. A good deal of the concepts are explained just as thoroughly as they need to be for him to cover the subject he is covering.
As such, I would not recommend this book for someone already experienced in programming/scripting.
In response to some other posts, which criticize him for teaching document.write instead of the more modern approach (working directly with the DOM), I disagree. I do acknowledge that it is better to work directly with the DOM, but that is far from a concept that can be taught to someone completely new to programming/scripting without boggling their mind.
Also: BEWARE THE ERRORS! This book is chock full of errors in the code snippets they display. The error in the numbered snippet on page 36, probably the 3rd or 4th error I've seen so far, is what actually motivated me to write this review. That in mind, if you're paying attention, the errors can actually be turned to an educational purpose--debugging! :)
Final advice: If you're completely new to this field or want to treat yourself as if you're completely new, then get this book. I would not recommend sticking solely with this book, though. Get this book and some others (JavaScript: The Definitive Guide and probably another instructional book such as one of the WROX Javascript books).

During the past decade, there has been a steady increase in studies addressing rollover crashes and injuries. Though rollovers are not the most frequent crash type, they are significant with respect to serious injury and interest in rollovers has grown with the introduction of SUVs, vans, and light trucks. A review of Occupant and Vehicle Responses in Rollovers examines relevant conditions for field roll overs, vehicle responses, and occupant kinetics in the vehicle. This book edited by Dr. David C. Vaino and Dr. Chantal S. Parenteau includes over 60 technical documents covering 15 years of rollover crash safety, including field crash statistics, pre- and rollover dynamics, test procedures and dummy responses.
Well illustrated by diagrams, tables, and charts, this book covers these topics:
Overview of Rollover Crashes
Rollover Safety Related Patterns
NHTSA Study of Rollover Crash Safety
Field Crash Data Analysis
Injury Biomechanics and Occupant Kinematics

Product Description
In early 2004, small-town attorney Tim Coyle takes on an apparently hopeless case against Columbia Motors, a huge car company, when an SUV rolls over on a California back road, killing one girl and crippling another for life. Police and the company blame the teenage driver but Coyle is convinced that the vehicle was seriously defective - and that the company knew it. Can he prove to a judge and jury that there was a corporate cover-up behind this tragedy? Outlawyered and outspent by the car company at every turn, he seems headed for a disastrous loss as the case goes to trial - a trial whose results are more shocking than either side could have predicted.

SUV cover-up an interesting topic.......2006-06-24
This book was great! I couldn't put it down - the story was so compelling. But the thing I really liked was how much I learned about SUV rollovers and car company aversion to making safer cars. I suspect this author knows alot more about car company shenanigans!

Book Description
What is a committed employee? Are employees who are committed better or worse off than employees who are uncommitted? What are the organizational advantages and disadvantages of having a committed workforce? Commitment in the Workplace provides an overview of academic and popular perspectives on what committed employees look like and how they become committed. The multiple faces of commitment are examined as are the links that have been established between the various forms of commitment and organizational behavior. In addition, questions concerning individual differences, organizational characteristics, and work experiences associated with commitment are explored. The book concludes with a discussion of what organizations can do to manage commitment effectively, including commitment under more difficult circumstances, such as merger/acquisition, downsizing, and relocation. One of the great strengths of the book is that it summarizes the key organizational commitment research in such a way that the research findings can be evaluated for both their scientific merit and their practical value. The primary audience for Commitment in the Workplace includes students in MBA and executive MBA programs, researchers, and students and practitioners in the fields of organizational behavior and industrial psychology.
Customer Reviews:
A résumé of more than 10 years of research........2000-12-23
For newcomers in the field, this is probably the best book available.
Clear, Straightforward........1999-11-25
This is the best book about commitment in the workplace so far as I am concerned. Readers may find the style of writing, contents and structure so clear and straightforward.
If you STILL recognise employees' commitment to their organisation is composed of only one dimension based upon "affection" or "identification", probably you're wrong. And if you find your coworkers and supervisors may seem committed to the organisation, their behaviours lead to various results, not simply determined as a good citizen's.
This book will give you a key to solve what we think about "complexed" commitment. Essential for MBA students, researchers and HR managers. Good work, in a word.
A Complete book about organizational commitment........1998-03-19
The book is a complete review and application of the Meyer e Allen three component conceptual model of organizational commitment. An indispensable book for organizational commitment research.

Book Description
Recorded history is a finely-woven magic fabric of intricate lies about events predating the sixteenth century. There is not a single piece of evidence that can be reliably and independently traced back earlier than the eleventh century. This book details events that are substantiated by hard facts and logic, and validated by new astronomical research and statistical analysis of ancient sources.
Customer Reviews:
Calculations are only as good as your numbers.......2007-08-03
Yes, we can all agree that mainstream history is nearly 100% BS due to politics, economics, ego, problems with dating techniques, and various conspiracies. Agreed. But, I've been researching the distinct possibility that human history (in terms of civilizations) are much more ancient than we've been told, so coming across this book was very interesting to me. I wondered how Fomenko could be wrong (if at all) because he is very persuasive in his presentations. Then it dawned on me. If at previous times in prehistory, due to the various catastrophies that are well documented (comets, asteroids, planetary disruptions, plasma discharge, pole reversals, etc) the Earth was in a different position in relation to the sun, different tilt on its axis, different orbit, different rotation (in terms of velocity and DIRECTION), and the continents were in different positions, then would this not cause the ancients to see the sky (constellations) differently? In other words, is Fomenko making erronious assumptions about the physics of the Earth in pre-history, which then corrupt his data with regards to dating the relevant astrology? The last event to seriously disrupt our planet occured roughly 3500 years ago, according to other good researchers, so is it possible Fomenko has been confused by this? The vastly different physics of our planet in the not so distant past may explain this confusion, which is not to say the "mainstream" version of history is correct; on the contrary. I am not an expert in these fields, but wanted to see if this idea could spark discussion.
Pants on fire?.......2007-07-19
Will people ever read before spamming? Yes, Jesuits could not rewrite world history alone, they had help. Anyway, Dr Prof Acad A.Fomenko does not point to jesuits as the driving force of world wide history manipulation in published volumes 1,2,3;, actually he barely mentions the poor devils. Check it with 'Search inside' feature, please. China is rarely mentioned either, in fact, Dr Fomenko is completely eurocentric. Right, his theory contradicts all mainstream schools of history, because in their actual state they are all built on blatantly erroneus chronology. You don't need a mysterious cabal (conspiracy) to falsify history, the falsification is its modus operandi. It is inherent to history(ians) to falsify (distort) events, as it is inherent to humans to boast as it is inherent to power (authority) to legimize itself by referrring to glorious past made to its own order. Dr Prof Fomenko and team have identified scores of instances of such manipulation in Russian, European, etc.. history, and delivered valid statistical proof thereof. His own 'reconstruction' is completely another story. Forget c14 as a valid method of dating. W.Libby has initially discovered a brilliant method of INDEPENDENT dating. Too bad, c14 method has become a joke after a forced marrige with dendrochronology with consensual chronological scale inbuilt. Radiocarbon method can't stand blind tests, but is so very productive as a rubberstamp.
Accepted History & Chronology Must Be Changed. .......2007-04-09
There is no doubt that history as most know it is a sham, & institution's version of History both University & Church is fradulent & inaccurate. Everything was established with an agenda, The real "Dark Ages" are now when we have access to incredible amounts of information past authorities & more important 'common folk' didn't have but our institutions & educators are slow to evolve because of what has ignorantly & arrogantly been taught for too long. This is on many subjects not just Chronology.
For anyone to question "Why would a Mathematician have anything credible to say of History?" The answer is from Dr. Fomenko's preface in the book: "It would be worthwhile to remind the reader that in the XVI-XVII century Chronology was considered to be a subdivision of Mathematics." These volumes could possibly be some of the most important works to date & should be read by everyone with an interest in History, especially professors & educators who have a duty to the public. I have read both books & must say that 'Chronology 1' has some very eye opening & revolutionary information. Even if these volumes are part true the implications are profound & opens the doors to further investigations & questions which must be done. I speak several different lanquages & must say the logic Dr. Fomenko uses with "inflection" of words & words being read from left to right in one region & right to left in another then written backwards, the removal of vowels & get down to basics of words, or different cities & locations having the same name etc. is correct. Vowel usage has always been optional & varied, actually complicating linquistics & study. The first thing one has to understand is that words never had a fixed spelling in history like we do now, the spelling of words was mutable & regional, as well as names & titles of people were vast, varied & changed, NOTHING WAS FIXED or understood linear. Matters of Life & Death as well as financial profiteering yesterday & today were & are made with ignorant, illogical & conspiratorial views of history & reality, it's time people get closer to the Truth & society collectively grow up.
Very Interesting.......2007-03-07
It is a good proposal and I believe it will mature into something even better in the future. I think it deserves to be read.
History as Science Fiction.......2007-01-10
Anatoly Fomenko has written a very intriguing book, full of pictures, charts, and computer 'proof' of his thesis: backwards of AD900 we don't really know what happened or when. Between AD900 and AD1600 there is more certainty, but there is still a lot of fuzzy ground, and things don't get reliable until we get past the 1600's where the printing press made it very difficult for the perpetrators of this timeline manipulation to change anything that had been committed to print. The Dark Ages did not happen. Books were burned for a reason. One organization has doubled the actual length of its existence by expanding the real chronology. Read why.
I had always wondered why Christ died about AD33 and yet men waited until the 11th century to form the Knights Templar, the Cathars, etc and go after the Holy Land by force. Why the 1000 year gap? Turns out there wasn't more than a 10-12 year gap and he proves it using astronomy. This also implies that the planet is not as old as we have been told, and current Christian and other creationist scientists are already championing that idea without being aware of Fomenko's book. The two groups, creationist scientists and the Russian mathematical analysts corroborate each other. Fascinating.
Of course, all this flies in the face of what we have been told traditionally is the 'proper' chronology of western civilization, and most readers will experience 'cognitive dissonance' in reading this book. It means that our history going backwards from AD1600 becomes progressively more incorrect and unreliable until it cannot be trusted at all... in the space of 700-800 years.
Naturally, the curious, open-minded reader will want to know WHO did this, WHY, and did any of the events we think of as really ancient ever happen?
Dr. Fomenko is a respected scientist/mathematician at Moscow State University who has already answered these questions to the satisfaction of his initially skeptical colleagues. Most of them are now believers, a few still refuse to believe (the usual diehards), and of course the western press has ignored Fomenko's work -- for obvious reasons when you read the book. The ones who perpetrated this chronology ruse have a lot to answer for. They are still with us. That's why this book is a well-kept secret.
I gave the book a 4-star rating because I was unable to check out some of his claims; those I checked were as he said. But if even 1/3 of his claims are true, this punches a big hole in what we think is our history, the meaning of western civilization, our educational process (for repeating the ruse as gospel), and the trustworthiness of the organization that perpetrated this ruse, well-intentioned or not.
This book relates to current research into a Young Earth paradigm, to John Keel's discoveries about our planet, and Fr Malachi Martin's insights (in his now out-of-print books). We are indeed sheep who are manipulated and kept ignorant -- for a reason. While knowing what these men have to say may be the "booby prize" (as in: 'what can you do with this knowledge?'), it will provide interesting reading. Didn't someone say: "...and the Truth will set you free."?? For you to judge if this book contains the truth.

Book Description
A total eclipse of the Sun is an awe-inspiring sight. By an extraordinary coincidence, the Moon - despite having a diameter 400 times less than that of the Sun - is exactly the right distance from the Earth to just cover the Sun in our sky: a total solar eclipse. At any given point of the Earth, this happens only once every 370 years. A total solar eclipse will take place in August 1999, it will be visible from much of Europe (including the West of England), and brings with it renewed interest in total eclipses, and not only of the Sun. Total Eclipses is more than a detailed scientific study of Solar and Lunar (at a level appropriate for undergraduates), it is also a fascinating survey of the myths and legends associated with eclipses and their observation, throughout history.

Book Description
There is no doubt that an eclipse--whether solar or lunar--is one of the most awe-inspiring natural spectacles that any of us will ever witness. Truly, an eclipse is a natural wonder of the universe; as darkness descends and birds become silent, virtually every living creature looks to the skies. What is an eclipse? The answer to that is the starting point of this fascinating introduction to total and partial eclipses of the sun and moon. Expert Ian Bruce explains how an eclipse takes place and what to expect; what people have believed about eclipses throughout history; the best ways to view an eclipse with and without special equipment; methods you can use to help children understand an eclipse and view it safely; and how you can record the event with a camera or camcorder. Complete with a pair of solar viewing glasses, Eclipse is an excellent introduction to the exciting world of amateur astronomy.
