- La Primer Pelicula "A Hard Day's Night".
- Los dias de "Beatles For Sale".
- La entrevista previa a la entrega de las medallas del imperio britanico, en 1965.

A Must For Quantum Spiritual Seekers.......2007-09-30
The second section of the book is devoted to an understanding of the quantum field as it relates to access to wisdom and creating results.
It simplifies and pulls together science and spirituality into a brilliantly clear picture that will leave you understanding your place in the universe from a whole new realm of possibility. THIS BOOK IS A MUST READ FOR ANYONE WANTNG TO UNDERSTAND HUMAN POTENTIAL.
The Planes of Existence and the Body.......2007-06-11
Ramtha's Beginner Guide is really interesting to read, and I believe it to be all true. It is an expansion of some ideas in Hinduism, like the astral realm and the kundalini. It has in-depth explanations of everything, and every plane of existence. Ramtha also explains a lot about his experiences, what happened, and how he got there. For his autobiography section, get ready for him repeatedly saying "as it were indeed" almost every sentence. After that, however, it starts getting interesting.
The only problem that I have with this book is that it isn't very clear what we are supposed to do, and it is not very practical. I would consider this a book that gives you an idea what it is like to be enlightened and know everything, but it doesn't teach you how to get there. Nevertheless, it explains in detail the 7 planes of existence and the 7 centers of the body, as well as the anatomy of the body related to those centers.
enlighted pages.......2007-05-16
I actually purchased this book for my father. He started reading Ramtha about a year ago and has since become a changed man. A sense of calm and confidence is more apart of his life, he savors his time of reading meditation of this book in the morning each day. Its been wonderful to watch and has me inspired me to perhaps buy myself a copy of my own. So while I can not reveiw this from my personal expereince I can see how its touched my Father's life and reccommend it to you if youare searching for a new path, a new way of looking at things, or just looking to explore. :) Cheers!
Tough one to get into.......2007-03-22
I've had trouble getting into this book. I pick it up every month or so and try again, but just can't get my head into it. I've found, in the past, when I'm ready for the book, it will become an easy read. Guess I'm just not ready - yet !
ten stars would be more acdurate.......2006-10-13
Read it and apply the knowledge.
Set aside all the little critcisms of limited thinking and religious indoctrination, which you have been burdened with since you were a child and open your heart to learn.

Textbook.......2007-09-01
Second Life is a place where you can acgtually learn.
There are many real Universities who provide classroom hours,
lectures, conferences and simposiums.
It is a place where you can learn how to run business,
how to construct, design, and build super architectural structures.
It is a fun place also, to go skydiving or swim in the ocean,
and it is certainly a great place to make friends.
In order to be able to be an active happy participant of the Second Life world, you need to learn how to quit bumbing your avatar into corners, not step on each other's feet, not to fall into ocean while flying, and not to accidentally dress into a LAMPSHADE instead of the new clothes you've just gotten...
A Beginner's Guide to Second Life is a textbook for newbies, an absolute necessity, if you want to improve sooner and lear the basics of how to BE in this amazing environment full of wonders and great opportunities!
a solid, good beginner's guide.......2007-08-26
This book is not as pretty as some of the other books on Second Life, but it has plenty of useful information for the beginner. It's occasionally a little snarky about newbies, but that's my only complaint. I would have given it 5 stars if the illustrations had been better. I found it well worth the money and still refer to it while my 2 other books on SL are gathering dust.
Pleasantly Surprised.......2007-06-16
I have been looking for awhile for a good instructional book on Second Life. Since I needed it to be a text book for an introductory college course on Second Life, I ended off looking at everything I could find in the market.
This is the ONLY book I found that actually gives you a full range of instruction. The official guide is pretty looking but doesn't provide instruction, Tourist guide is about locations and history, play money book is too esoteric, etc. etc.
I had to write this review....I was so blown away with the overwhelmingly positive feedback I got from my students about A Beginner's Guide to Second Life for course material. That's the first I ever got with a textbook.
Great Teaching Textbook.......2007-06-02
I've been looking for a fast way to understand Second Life. The Official "Help" links on the game can be confusing and orientation is frustratingly tedious. I found A Beginner's Guide to Second Lifeto be an excellent "hands-on" tutorial for quickly becoming adept at Second Life. Since I teach at a community college, I have also used it as a textbook for introducing my class to the subject. I hope this team will write a follow-up.
Just the Help I Needed.......2007-04-11
When I first tried Second Life, I was a little overwhelmed by the complexity of it. Sure, there are help files and forums and such, but I really needed a step by step guide to help keep me from running around naked with a box on my head. This book was just what I was looking for. I highly recommend it. I think I'm going to buy an island today.

Book Description
Have you ever wondered if the world is really there when you're not looking? We tend to take the reality of our world very much for granted. This book will lead you down the rabbit hole in search of something we can point to, hang our hats on and say this is real. On the way, Jim Baggott examines some of the things that have been said about reality by a few of the world's greatest thinkers-from the philosophers of ancient Greece to modern scientists and social theorists.
Jim Baggott is the author of The Meaning of Quantum Physics and Beyond Measure: Modern Physics, Philosophy, and Quantum Theory, both published by Oxford University Press. He lives in England.
Customer Reviews:
Fun book!.......2007-08-07
The bottom line for me with this book was that it was just a great read, really alot of fun. I have always enjoyed science and philosophy, and Baggott mixes them both in a way that is interesting, thought provoking, and humorous. I liked the fact that at the end of the book he doesn't insist that you see reality in the way he does, you must decide that on your own. Very well written I thought.
Alice in Wonderland or breaking down the 3 perspectives.......2006-07-31
The book provides a lot of knowledge from a lot of sources about reality, and remains objective through out. I think if one thing that is great about this book, is the authors ability to remain objective even though in the end he admits to favor 1 of the 3 perspectives that he provides near the end of the book.
The beginning parts should be easy to understand, a little bit of the philosphy was repetitive to the point where I got lost in what he was trying to say or trying to connect, but pushing through and ignoring those bits didn't hurt the rest.
The physics parts when it came to quantum theory were rather tough, and even got into a little bit of math that seemed weird to me, the percentages of directions for example. But again pushing past the points he was trying to make there, didn't hurt much either, you could just take the provided conclusions and move on with out hurting your brain.
Though I don't think you should skip the rest of the book and go straight to the end of it because there is a lot of value in the whole of the book, the epilogue is one of my favorite parts. It is where he takes most of the knowledge of the book and breaks down the 3 perspectives: empiricism, social constructivism, and scientific realism. These can be said to be similar to being Atheist, Agnostic, and Theist.
Makes you think - just as a book should!.......2006-07-30
Okay, I'll be honest: perhaps the 5 stars are a bit much. This book is not that revolutionary, and it is not brilliant. Nonetheless, I was fascinated and impressed by the way the author is able to bring many strings in thinking about what "reality" is. And the book is utterly readable.
The book circles around two aspects: that reality has a social and a physical aspect. In the first part of the book, Baggott describes the social dimension of thinking about reality; he takes much from Baudrillard and John Searle. (As I said, the book is not original, except in its bringing together different strands of ideas.) In the second part, Baggott describes how philosophers from the ancient Greeks until the present day have thought about what constitutes reality and how we are able to know it. Here the author describes the ideas of Plato, Descartes, Putnam and Nozick. In the third part, Baggott describes the physics of reality, especially quantum mechanics.
I liked the first and second parts. If you're not a philosopher, these two parts can be considered as introductions into philosophy (or rather metaphysics). Baggott describes philosophical ideas in simple terms and uses concrete examples to make his point. The third part for me was the most boring. Baggott tries to describe the weirdness of the quantum level. He may do a good job in describing quantum mechanics, but there are books and movies (e.g. What the Bleep Do We Know?) on the subject that do a better job.
The conclusion of the book is simply and to some may be disappointing: after having deconstructed the view that reality is independent, logically coherent and that science comes ever closer to the truth about reality, Baggott believes that although there is no justification for this position, scientific realism "is justiried because it is the most natural position - the default assumption - of most working scientists." (239) Yet, scientific realism can only be accepted as an "act of faith". Baggott may be right here (as I think he is), but to many this may not be satisfactory.
I read this book in my vacation, and was thoroughly fascinated by it - despite the critical things I said before. Being a huge fan of the Matrix, this book goes into the philosophy underneath the movies and asks the question, Could it be that we are living in the Matrix? I believe it is possible that we are living in a Matrix, although there is a good chance we will never be able to know it, and this book confirms that conclusion using philosophical arguments. The book is easily readable, but I have read it as a prologue to further study in a truly fascinating subject. This book did what it was supposed to do, it made me think about the unthinkable...

Essential reading!.......2001-10-26
It was in 1977 that JZ Knight had her first encounter with an extraordinary being...Ramtha, an amorphic entity and higher power from Lemuria and a participant in the pilgrimage to Atlantis. Ramtha selected JZ Knight as the channel rather than appear in physical form and risk being deified...and to declare that God is both man and woman, yet neither.
A Beginner's Guide to Creating Reality leads the reader into the metaphysical world of Ramtha, and to a set of truths (not a religion) that can change your life, forever. While autobiographical in makeup, here is a book that not only introduces an entity of wisdom, it introduces the wisdom itself and the fundamental concepts of Ramtha's teachings.
The reader will discover, as this reviewer did, what true consciousness is and who we were, are and can be, starting with the Void. Ramtha says, "This (the Void) is the Mother/Father Principle that gave it life, and this is where you started." We learn that God is in all of us, and always has been. Here is a another doorway to enlightenment, "If you are Gods--and you most certainly are--and if consciousness and energy create the nature of reality, perhaps the problem that we have here is the inability to believe in oneself of its capability."
And so, an accurate description of A Beginner's Guide to Creating Reality has to be that it is a mass of information and logic that offers guidance and a philosophy to attain that manifestation of acceptance. Ramtha says, "O my beloved God,/ I do decree/ that that which I focus upon/ I surely want./ Manifest it straightaway./So be it./ To life."

Book Review.......2005-09-13
The book that i recieved was not the correct book and I put in the isbn number so I think it would be good if you put a picture of all the books you are selling so people can see before they buy it. What am I going to do now with the wrong book?
CLEP Information Systems and Computer Applications.......2005-01-14
I purchased this book (11th Ed. paperback) to prepare for my CLEP Info Sys and Comp Apps exam. I was able to ace my CLEP by relying primarily on this excellent book. This book provides a general but comprehensive coverage of the entire breadth of computer science and technology and is an excellent test preparation, not only for computer novices and newbies, but also for students with a strong IT background. It has something to offer everyone. It is written in an easily readable and enjoyable format with plenty of attractive graphics and images. The authors have worked hard to keep the material up-to-date and relevant. I have decided to keep this book even after taking my CLEP because I find it to be also a very handy and useful reference book. I understand there is a 12th Edition out there now. I would suggest buyers consider purchasing the 12th Edition. Overall an excellent purchase.
computers 11th ed by long and long.......2004-01-21
not a bad book however my lecturer has noticed several factual and historical mistakes about the subject matter which it simply shouldnt have done for a book used by many students.
But the fact that your never quite sure weather what your reading is fact or not is not what gets me. The truley annoying thing about this book is the American propaganda. The little bits that the authors have put in to "prepare" students for when they vote. for instance they say things like "terrorists now are researching ways to destroy one of most valuable personnal and commercial assets- the contents of our disks. They do this by seeking points of vunerability in PCs and servers and by planting destructive viruses......cyber terror is now part of the terrorists arsenal of evil."
what the hell? Did i just pick up a academic book or a copy of the Daily mail!
Price.......2000-02-17
Price is not reasonable to buy to a new comer to the computing inductry, even though book is very good.
Book Description
Scrambled Brains is a decidedly offbeat cookbook for those living and eating on the edge-urban warriors and young hipsters low on funds but high on attitude. Robin, a visual artist, and Pierre, a chef, are roommates who joined forces to create a spirited yet highly usable book of recipes, comics, and anecdotes based on their solemn belief that it doesn't take a whole lot of cash to have a whole lot of fun in the kitchen.
Alongside traditional treats such as pasta, risotto, and blackberry pie are such intriguing, unusual delicacies as Nun's Farts (an Acadian bun), Tortilla de Patatas (a very special tortilla), Did You Think I'd Crumble? (a pie for those suffering from unrequited love), and the Exploding Jesus Cake made with fresh seasonal fruit and a small explosive device). There's also ideas for making Subliminal Alphabet Soup, leftover Kraft Dinner art, and tips for putting together your own Naked Dinner Party.
Recipes (and comic strips) are organized into chapters. In "Poverty Kitchen" are recipes for those on a budget. "Soup Line Favourites" is, you guessed it, a collection of various soup recipes. "Party" outlines themes and menus for throwing your own fabulous parties. In the "Cooking With Weeds" chapter are recipes for more "adventurous" cooks (those who tend to get the munchies). And the recipes contained in "Bad Trade" are not for the faint of heart.
Scrambled Brains is an irreverent and innovative cookbook chockful of glamourous food ideas that turn meal-making into performance art.
Book Description
`Most cultural analysis focuses on the spectacular and the unusual. Frances Bonner has done us a great service by insisting on - and demonstrating - the importance of everyday TV.
Ordinary Television breaks genuinely new ground' -
Toby Miller, New York University
In this book, Frances Bonner provides a distinctive angle on a key area of research and teaching across media and cultural studies - the content of television and the relations between television genres and audiences.
Hitherto most books on television have focused on drama, or news and current affairs. In other words, they tend to ignore 'ordinary' television - lifestyle programmes and 'reality TV', just the sort of programmes which increasing dominate the schedules.
In
Ordinary Television, Frances Bonner makes a distinctive argument for regarding these disparate shows as a whole. By examining a substantial range of these programmes, Frances Bonner uncovers their shared characteristics, especially through a consideration of the dominant and disguised discources which pervade them. In addition, the comparative nature of her study enables the author to launch a powerful critique of conventional theories in relation to the globalization of television.
This book will be invaluable reading for anyone interested in television and the media in general.

no math.......2007-05-25
Overall this book was OK. It presented the key information in money and banking and the authors often made it entertaining to read. However the one major flaw with the book is the lack of ANY math. I know that some books are marketed for a more mathematical approach and thus contain more advanced mathematics accordingly. However this book had so little math it was laughable. I recall one section where the authors said "this can be proven mathematically, but for now just take our word for it..."
NO, I won't take your word for it, because knowing the underlying principals is to truly understanding anything.
Poorly written.......2006-03-22
Principles of Money, Banking, and Financial Markets contains a great deal of information regarding economics in the United States. As a student, I find it to be poorly written. The authors/editors make constant reference throughout the text to other sections of the text. For example, we will discuss this in depth in chapter seven, but for now, lets reflect our continued study from chapter two and three. By doing so, we will be better prepared to read chapter eleven when we get to it. If the authors / editors left out the references and just left the actual information needed to learn the material, the student would be able to follow the material and perhaps understand the topic better. I am strongly encouraging our economics department to seek another text for future semesters.
