You aren't going to gain great insight on what makes Jennifer so driven or anything like that. But it was fun to go through it and see all the pictures, most of which I had never seen before. They also give you some interesting tidbits on her personal life. If you're a fan and want something fun about J.Lo, I'd get this.

This is one of the greatest books I haved ever read for a very long time. I recomend this book to people who don't understand the latin community. This book explores the lifes of many latin artist who's life you don't know; this book goes on to talk about artists who's lifes where cut short like Selena's.

This very attractive and colorful book that gives you all the most up-to-date information on JLO. She looks great in the numerous beautiful full color photo's. The book does not give the dirt but the truth about Jennifer's career, loves, and life. It really is a must for every young fans library.

I would recommend skipping out on this book. If you're really looking for information about JLo's life, this isn't the place to find it. It's more concerned with fashion and the mythos of the "Jenny from the Block" fan. Whether you love or hate JLo, this book will likely shed no new light on her life.

Althoug the thought of writing a book about Jennifer is a big complimet, considering the time that it takes to write a book, the book was poorly written. First of all it WAS unauthorized and alot of the information is not fact, and true Jennifer Lopez fans will know the facts from fiction. And second of all there were a few Grammar mistakes (with names), if you're going to write a book about someone be sure to spell the names right, because these are the important people in her life.Besides that the book was ok for people (not fans)who are wanting to know the basics and just the basics about Jennifer...I guess the price of the book easily reflects on the writing and information in the book...Jennifer is worthy of so much more. Maybe next time a REAL, AUTHORIZED, WELL WRITTEN BOOK!

I really enjoyed this book so much that I sent Stacy-Deanne a fan letter! The book got interesting each time I read it. I suggested it to all my friends. I admit that it should have included more divas like Tamia and Ciara, but the book is a still very good. I loved the pictures! I am hoping that the authors(who are also divas)do a follow up for this. I wish them all the best and everyone should get this book!

Divas of the New Millennium is a wonderful book that I truly enjoyed reading. It gave insight into the lives of women many of us have come to respect and admire. I especially enjoyed the section about Alicia Keys that's written by Natasha Lowery. While all the authors of Divas of the New Millennium do the book justice, Ms. Lowery has a flair for writing that kept me particulary interested. Her sense style and commitment to detail is truly commendable. A great book!

When I was a teenager, music soothed my soul and helped me through a lot of ups and down when I was growing up. Like most kids, I had idols that I looked up to. Teen magazines about young music stars, such as Right On! and The Beat, fed my hunger for information - but only to a point. Even after thumbing through reams of pages, I felt I never knew enough.

Divas of the New Millennium by Stacy Deanne and other contributors brings back colorful memories of these days. The writers deliver a book jam-packed with information, but it never overwhelms you. Divas focuses on some of today's top female artists - Alicia Keys, Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez, just to name a few.

I enjoy the book's positive focus. It gives you a bird's eye into these women's lives, families and fans. Deanne wrote these stories as if she had sat down for a private chat with several of her closest friends. She and the other contributors wrote this book with special care, helping you get to know the real persona of your favorite female entertainer. Divas is well-written and very detailed, but you feel as if you're reading short stories rather than one-dimensional accounts of each artist's life.

If you're like me, you'll find this book hard to put down. It poignantly profiles each phenomenal woman. I recommend Divas for anyone wishing to learn about high-achieving women and the attributes that propelled them to acclaim - success that most of us can only dream about.

A Must Read, A Must Have.......2006-03-18

Divas of the New Millenium is a must read. I believe every if not most fans of R&B (or not) should get a copy of this book. It gives give you great background info of the stars and the music we love so much. Up until I read this book, I was ignorant and had no idea the struggles some of these artists went through before they got to where they are to today, and that makes it so much easier to appreciate their music. Thumbs up to the author "Stacy Deanne" for a job well done. I'm looking forward to reading her next masterpiece!

Ideas you can use to reach affluent customers.......2006-06-30

So many books about marketing or business are long on high-minded concepts, but very short on ideas you can use when you go to work the next day. Mass Affluence happily breaks that mold and offers up useful ideas in almost every chapter.

Nunes does a great job of breaking down how to approach the large demographic of relatively wealthy consumers into different functional areas and makes a chapter out of each. He explains how something, like billing, was typically done in the past and how it should be handled now. Beyond that, Nunes has found pertinent real-world examples of every concept he discusses and gets helpful input from the business people out using the strategies on a day-to-day basis.

The result of all Nunes work (I'm sure it would've been easier to write the book without running down real-world examples) is a highly practical guide to setting up or improving upon a business that caters to wealthy, but not mega-rich, customers.

Highly recommended.

Why this one is a standout..........2006-02-22

There are zillions of books out there on marketing moderate to high end items, most of them repeating the same old principles (yawn). You certainly don't need to waste your time or money on those.
Happily, this one is different, showing sellers how to reach the elusive buyers who may fall somewhere between high end and moderate end...perhaps prefering items that fall somewhere between the High end of Moderately priced...or, if you like, the low end of Luxury. They'll spend plenty...but they have definite needs.
This book shows sellers how to appeal to those needs and to market the same (or similar) items in a way to appeal to diverse buyers.
By the way, it is always a plus when a publisher takes advantage of the "Look Inside the Book" feature on Amazon - and this publisher does. So don't take my word on the benefits of this book. Take a look at a sample page or two and see if it appeals to you.
I will add that there is a LOT of info crammed into this book and I learned quite a bit. I'd also recommend Let Them Eat Cake.
