Well this book wasn't very good the other reviews were pretty much right. I wanted to do it for a book report but it was basically just the movie in words. I would not suggest it.

A look into the ditzyness of America.......1999-10-25

This book was basically a publicity stunt for Jennifer Love Hewitt and Brandy, because I saw no other reason for it. Honestly, who would want to read all the details of "behind the scenes" of a movie when you could sum it all up in a magazine article? I thought the book would have more substance. It basically consists of some drawn-out story of what happened while a movie was being made and what happened in the movie. I'm just glad I borrowed the book and didn't waste my money on it.

when i was reading this book in the beginning it was really i mean really boring. i was about to fall asleep. but then when julie was on the stage singing and she saw the words i still know what u did last summer totally freaked me out. not really but thats ok. i really liked the parts when julie is about to get killed as u can see i hate jennifer love hewitts guts she is ugly. anyway i always laughed at her stupid remarks. to total it out this book was good if u cant find anything else to read.

Nerz did a great job explaining the details of Love's life. I bought this book for my niece but I picked it up and could not put it down. Jennifer is really classy. I bet Nerz is a groovy guy..How else would he know all those facts in his book!! Enjoy!!!

This book is made for fast reading, in magazine-style. It features information and curiosities about the life and carrer of Jennifer Love Hewitt. It tells, without many details, her first steps in TV series when she was a kid. About 30 pictures show the grace of one of the most beautiful and charming faces we have seen in the last years on the TV screen and in the movies. And, certainly, this is just the beginning of a very succesful career of this very talented artist. The book should bring an interview with her.

This book is not very good, but since I like Jennifer L. Hewitt it was o.k. She is really cool,but the book is not all that good. You can find most of the infromation that is in the book online, if you type in Jennifer Love Hewitt in any search engine . I only recomend this book for girls aged 8-11 who are really into, or want to be like Jennifer Love Hewitt.

Yes, but what D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S b&w photos for the price! This is one of the BEST used book values I ever bought!

My favorites are the photos with captions "Beautiful Jennifer in serious thought" and "Jennifer strikes a playful pose."

These are like a work of art, and the rest of the excellent book is just icing on the cake!

This book was very informative. It was like the author followed Love around her whole life. It had many quotes from Love on many different topics. The pictures were great (though they would have been better in color). This book tells just how much she had to go through to get to the level she's at today, the top. I would have given it one more star if it were an official biography.

This is probably the best book Ive read so far. But it olny has 8 black&white photos, but great photos. Its small enough to fit in your jacket pocket. It has all the information I needed to know. And easy to read.

I bought this book hoping it would have good info in a nice format, and some color pictures. There are 8 black and white pictures and it is written like a novel with chapters and everything. If you want color pictures and an easy-to-read book, don't go for this one.

The Chronicle is the best fake grimoire of evil sorcery I've ever seen! The Simon Necronomicon looks like a kid's book by comparison. Graphically cool, mentally twisted, and a fine pastiche of what a real system of dangerous magic might look like. I assume that gamers will like it, but I've never played Werewolf:The Apolcalypse, and I loved it!

A disturbing romp into the history of the Wyrm.......2000-07-02

This book has me speechless. I have read a ton of Wyrmish literature put out by White Wolf in my time, including the Book of the Wyrm, and I must say that I learned more from this book than all the rest. This is truely one excellent book and a great prop to have around. The only reason this book did not receive 5 stars from me was because of the rather dry Victorian story about the paranormal investigator, but the typed report in the back nearly makes up for it...

For STs Only!.......2000-05-03

As in other similar WW produts (Fragile path, etc), this book has a very limited utility. It serves basically for the ST to understand the Black Spiral culture, so that he may better role play the brief dialogs that, in general, player's have with the BS. HOWEVER, for the STs out there who really LOVE to build a political scenerio, this book should rate 3 stars.

Some of us give good demonstrations based on gut feel; others need more guidance. No matter where you are in this spectrum, you will find value in the approach recommended in this book.

The methodology forces you to focus on understanding the critical business issues - not only what they are but how to use them in your session. Do the last thing first (a mantra reinforced throughout) captures the attention of the decision makers and influencers in such a way that it shows them how they can apply the solution to their requirements.

By doing this, the number of demos are reduced, the time to commit can be better managed when you have internal supporters wanting to work more effectively.

Read, apply and benefit from the results. I have seen proof of this in my own organization.

The Best Book on the Subject.......2007-01-03

Before I started my current role, this book was given to me by a neighbor. In my last six months, I have tried to follow Peter Cohan's principles since I consider this to be the best on the subject. it is easy to forget what the purpose of a demo is, unless you have a clear understanding of what you doing, what you are showing, and what impacts the viewer the most.

Cohan provides a clear strategy for how to approach a demo. From starting with the last thing first, there are many techniques to help you and/or a sales force grab the attention of the viewer. The other technique that we often forget, is to address your customer's needs. By showing them the functionality that can address any pain points or solutions to address any of their pressing needs, the demo becomes more targeted, and ultimately more worthwhile.

If you are charged with giving demo's, this is certainly a great place to make what you do, better.

"Great Demo" is not just a book. It is an essential strategy.

Last year we implemented this strategy at our January sales meeting, both by requiring everyone read the book and by hosting the author for a 2 day seminar...revenues were up significantly in 2005. Coincidence? I think not. It helped us transform our lackluster presentations and demonstrations into dynamic, meaningful sales events and has helped our sales and applications groups act as a cohesive team. Almost forgot...our customers thank us as well for not putting them to sleep anymore! It is a must read.

If you're looking for a way to shake up your salesforce , shake loose their love of doing things the traditional way and eventually shake down your competition - look no further.

Demonstrating software is an art-form , at its best a careful balance and ballet between a salesperson and a sales consultant/engineer. All too often it turns into a long 2 hour monologue after a boring 30 slide powerpoint presentation introducing your company ('the corporate pitch'). Peter Cohan presents an alternative technique to the mind and butt-numbing methodology we've all had drilled into us in sales training. Its not so much finding the unique solution to your prospects business problem - but in how you present it and grab their attention.

As the leader of an 40+ size organization tasked with giving software demos I found this book to be exciting , invigorating and a catalyst for change. After the presentation of the big idea (Do the last thing first) the book slows down for a few chapters covering the basics, but then picks up again around a third of the way through and hits high gear around managing time, questions and expectations. There is also a great section on remote (web) demos and then some advanced chapters on style and appearance.

The content-free buzzword-compliant list of phrases should be pasted on the cover of every laptop.
