This book has all of Williams's best. The songs sound really good on the piano and are easily reconizable. I recommend it to any John Williams fan.

Boook was in GREAT shape, super super super fast shipping. Wonderful seller. Buy from this person! Thank you so much! We used one of the songs as a joke in our wedding (Indianna Jones theme song... I'm an Archaeologist) and people LOVED it! Thanks for helping to make our special day even better!

THE John Williams Sheet Music Book.......2001-08-28
If you are looking for a book with various themes of John Williams, look no further. This book contains many of his great hits from, like the book says, 1969-1999. It includes the themes from Born of the Fourth of July, Jurassic Park, Star Wars, Jaws, JFK, Schindler's List, E.T., Close Encounters, and Superman. It also includes Duel of the Fates, The Imperial March, Luke and Leia (for all you Star Wars fans), Cadillac Of The Skies, Hymn to the Fallen, Seven Years In Tibet, Scherzo For Motorcycle and Orchestra, and many more. If you are a fan of John Williams and play the piano, this book is for you! P.S. Also look for the 2-CD set of the same name which includes all of the same songs.

A Classic Look at a Vast Wonderous World of Sounds. .......2006-08-06
This is essential reading for anyone seeking an introduction to and overview of the complex sonic wealth of musical forms from Africa and the African Diaspora.
It is a fine orientation from an intrepid Brit who has been seeking these wonders since the early 1950's.
It was hard enough to find recordings of compelling planetary noise for a kid in the 70's in provincial America.
Roberts was discovering it all in its homeworlds before I was born.
Roberts work helped me make sense of Merengue, High Life, Blues Shouters, Santeria Drummers and many other glistening things from the hearts and minds of Africa here and there.

Dot's Entertainment!.......2007-09-01
I never outgrew my love of doing dot-to-dot puzzles, but I did outgrow the simple dot-to-dot books which are aimed at young children and seemingly were the only ones being made. So it was with great excitement that I came across David Kalvitis's excellent book on Amazon. This is what I have long been hoping to find: a dot-to-dot book that is actually enjoyable (and challenging) for adults!
The puzzles in this book, unlike the kiddie dot-to-dot puzzles of the past, have several adult-worthy features:
1.) The solution to most of the puzzles isn't immediately obvious. You won't be connecting 25 dots to complete a kite or a ball in this book! Instead, puzzles can include 200 to 300 (or more!) dots, in which many have to be connected in order to reveal what the final image might be.
2.) The act of simply connecting the dots is often a challenge! Many dots are spaced far apart and require long, straight lines zigzagging all around the page, which isn't as easy as it might seem. Your arm will get tired, but you will also get a nice sense of satisfaction after completing the more elaborate puzzles.
3.) Kalvitis includes several variations, including puzzles where you must connect several subsets of dots, puzzles where you start and stop your line, "fields of dots," and even dotless puzzles. This prevents monotony from ever setting in (along with the variety in the pictures themselves).
Older children would probably enjoy this book too, but the difficulty level would most likely frustrate younger kids. That's OK though... as I've already noted, there are plenty of simple dot-to-dot books already available for them. For everyone else, I highly recommend this one!
Challenging and Fun!!.......2007-08-15
My son absolutely loves this dot to dot book! He loves guessing what the picture is before he starts connecting dots, revising his guess as he works, and then seeing what the end result is. The # of dots on each page range from a low of 49 to a high 274, so your child does need good counting skills.
This is an excellent book that is always in our "Wait Bag" (a bag I keep for Drs. visits, etcetera).
My daughter loves it!.......2007-07-05
I bought this book for my 10 year old daughter and she really likes it. Right now she is into mazes and dot-to-dots and she is enjoying this book.
Excellant Book.......2007-01-24
My 8 year old son loves dot to dots, but seems to have outgrown most of the activity books that I usually find. He just wants the dot to dots, not the mazes, coloring, and word puzzles that he usually gets mixed in. This book had some really fun pictures. I had no idea what most of them were going to be until he was almost done. He could not put the book down!! I will most definately buy more books like this one.
Best Ever Dot - To - Dot Books.......2007-01-06
David Kalvitis has the best set of Dot - To - Dot books you can purchase. The others are cheap imitations and don't come close the " world class " quality David brings to his work. He still creates every inch of these books by himself and his commitment to excellence has never wavered. I still buy these and give them as presents all year long. The best thing about David's work is he is constantly fine tuning his craft to make the next book even better.

Great for Adults who are still Kids at heart.......2007-09-11
This is a great product for those who enjoyed doing Dot-to-Dots as a kid, but who want something a little more substantial than the typical offerings. The book has about 50 pages of great Dot-to-Dots, all of which consist of hundreds of dots. You can almost never tell what the picture is until you finish connecting the dots. I also recommend "The Greatest Dot-to-Dot Super Challenge" by the same author as well. That one has a few Dot-to-Dots with over 1000 dots per page!
Advanced Dot to Dot Books.......2007-09-09
My son would due the dot to dot books from Walmart in a short period of time. I wanted something more challenging for him. This book is more challenging.
Best of Dot to dot.......2007-01-09
I really enjoyed the dot to dot. My granddaughter enjoyed it just as much. She is 10 years old. Wish they had more out there like these because we have done all 4 books.
Nostalgic, but very cool.......2007-01-05
I hadn't done a dot to dot puzzle since I was a kid but got this book on a whim. I was pretty surprised! Some of the pictures are pretty intricate. On the other hand, a few are a little lame. But most are very cool. I've gone through all the "Greatest Dot-To-Dot book(s) in the World and they're worth it no matter what your age. Good for everyone, either sex. Really enjoyed all of them.
A little challenging for a 7 year old.......2006-11-08
Although this required a little assistance at first, my Granddaughter loves this. She can grasp numerical concepts easily. It helps to reinforce the counting into the higher numbers, which is appropirate for me, I have to get my glasses to see the numbers when assistance is needed. I would buy again.

The Greatest Dot To Dot Book In The World Book 3.......2003-10-07
This series of dot-to-dot books are wonderful. As a child, I loved games and challenges. Dot-to-dots and mazes were my favorites. I had no idea these books even existed until I saw them in a Bits and Pieces catalog several weeks ago. I looked them up on Amazon and found there were four books. I ordered all four books from Amazon even though I thought I would probably be disappointed if they were too simple. Even as an adult, I still work dot-to-dots when I find them in magazines and newspapers, so I figured I had nothing to lose even if these books were for children. I'm in the baby-boomer generation, so I confess I like to revisit my childhood era occasionally.
Boy, was I surprised! When they came in the mail, I sat up until 5 a.m. the next morning working some of the puzzles. I am retired with 30 years in my local school system, so it wasn't like I had to get up early. After I would complete one puzzle, I would think I'll just do one more. Then another. Then another. I tried all the different types of puzzles. I am so excited and I wanted your customers to know how much I enjoyed them.
Even my 76 year old mother enjoyed working the puzzles. Like me, she was very skeptical about ordering sight unseen.
I hope to see future publications of new books. I look forward to seeing Books 5, 6, 7, etc. real soon.

Book Description
Born in 1916 in La Jolla, California, Gregory Peck took up acting in college on a lark that would lead to a career. In his early years, he appeared in a series of summer stock engagements and Broadway shows. He became a star within a year after arriving in Hollywood during World War II, and he won an Academy Award nomination for his second film. From the 1940s to the present, he has played some of film's most memorable and admired characters. This volume provides complete information about Gregory Peck's work in film, television, radio, and the stage. Entries are included for all of his performances, with each entry providing cast and credit information, a plot summary, excerpts from reviews, and critical commentary. A biography and chronology highlight significant events in his life, while a listing of his honors and awards summarizes the recognition he has received over the years. For researchers seeking additional information, the book includes descriptions of special collections holding material related to Peck's work, along with an extensive bibliography of books and articles.
