Book Description

Recorded history is a finely-woven magic fabric of intricate lies about events predating the sixteenth century. There is not a single piece of evidence that can be reliably and independently traced back earlier than the eleventh century. This book details events that are substantiated by hard facts and logic, and validated by new astronomical research and statistical analysis of ancient sources.

Yes, we can all agree that mainstream history is nearly 100% BS due to politics, economics, ego, problems with dating techniques, and various conspiracies. Agreed. But, I've been researching the distinct possibility that human history (in terms of civilizations) are much more ancient than we've been told, so coming across this book was very interesting to me. I wondered how Fomenko could be wrong (if at all) because he is very persuasive in his presentations. Then it dawned on me. If at previous times in prehistory, due to the various catastrophies that are well documented (comets, asteroids, planetary disruptions, plasma discharge, pole reversals, etc) the Earth was in a different position in relation to the sun, different tilt on its axis, different orbit, different rotation (in terms of velocity and DIRECTION), and the continents were in different positions, then would this not cause the ancients to see the sky (constellations) differently? In other words, is Fomenko making erronious assumptions about the physics of the Earth in pre-history, which then corrupt his data with regards to dating the relevant astrology? The last event to seriously disrupt our planet occured roughly 3500 years ago, according to other good researchers, so is it possible Fomenko has been confused by this? The vastly different physics of our planet in the not so distant past may explain this confusion, which is not to say the "mainstream" version of history is correct; on the contrary. I am not an expert in these fields, but wanted to see if this idea could spark discussion.

Will people ever read before spamming? Yes, Jesuits could not rewrite world history alone, they had help. Anyway, Dr Prof Acad A.Fomenko does not point to jesuits as the driving force of world wide history manipulation in published volumes 1,2,3;, actually he barely mentions the poor devils. Check it with 'Search inside' feature, please. China is rarely mentioned either, in fact, Dr Fomenko is completely eurocentric. Right, his theory contradicts all mainstream schools of history, because in their actual state they are all built on blatantly erroneus chronology. You don't need a mysterious cabal (conspiracy) to falsify history, the falsification is its modus operandi. It is inherent to history(ians) to falsify (distort) events, as it is inherent to humans to boast as it is inherent to power (authority) to legimize itself by referrring to glorious past made to its own order. Dr Prof Fomenko and team have identified scores of instances of such manipulation in Russian, European, etc.. history, and delivered valid statistical proof thereof. His own 'reconstruction' is completely another story. Forget c14 as a valid method of dating. W.Libby has initially discovered a brilliant method of INDEPENDENT dating. Too bad, c14 method has become a joke after a forced marrige with dendrochronology with consensual chronological scale inbuilt. Radiocarbon method can't stand blind tests, but is so very productive as a rubberstamp.

5 out of 5 stars Accepted History & Chronology Must Be Changed. .......2007-04-09

There is no doubt that history as most know it is a sham, & institution's version of History both University & Church is fradulent & inaccurate. Everything was established with an agenda, The real "Dark Ages" are now when we have access to incredible amounts of information past authorities & more important 'common folk' didn't have but our institutions & educators are slow to evolve because of what has ignorantly & arrogantly been taught for too long. This is on many subjects not just Chronology.

For anyone to question "Why would a Mathematician have anything credible to say of History?" The answer is from Dr. Fomenko's preface in the book: "It would be worthwhile to remind the reader that in the XVI-XVII century Chronology was considered to be a subdivision of Mathematics." These volumes could possibly be some of the most important works to date & should be read by everyone with an interest in History, especially professors & educators who have a duty to the public. I have read both books & must say that 'Chronology 1' has some very eye opening & revolutionary information. Even if these volumes are part true the implications are profound & opens the doors to further investigations & questions which must be done. I speak several different lanquages & must say the logic Dr. Fomenko uses with "inflection" of words & words being read from left to right in one region & right to left in another then written backwards, the removal of vowels & get down to basics of words, or different cities & locations having the same name etc. is correct. Vowel usage has always been optional & varied, actually complicating linquistics & study. The first thing one has to understand is that words never had a fixed spelling in history like we do now, the spelling of words was mutable & regional, as well as names & titles of people were vast, varied & changed, NOTHING WAS FIXED or understood linear. Matters of Life & Death as well as financial profiteering yesterday & today were & are made with ignorant, illogical & conspiratorial views of history & reality, it's time people get closer to the Truth & society collectively grow up.

It is a good proposal and I believe it will mature into something even better in the future. I think it deserves to be read.

4 out of 5 stars History as Science Fiction.......2007-01-10

Anatoly Fomenko has written a very intriguing book, full of pictures, charts, and computer 'proof' of his thesis: backwards of AD900 we don't really know what happened or when. Between AD900 and AD1600 there is more certainty, but there is still a lot of fuzzy ground, and things don't get reliable until we get past the 1600's where the printing press made it very difficult for the perpetrators of this timeline manipulation to change anything that had been committed to print. The Dark Ages did not happen. Books were burned for a reason. One organization has doubled the actual length of its existence by expanding the real chronology. Read why.

I had always wondered why Christ died about AD33 and yet men waited until the 11th century to form the Knights Templar, the Cathars, etc and go after the Holy Land by force. Why the 1000 year gap? Turns out there wasn't more than a 10-12 year gap and he proves it using astronomy. This also implies that the planet is not as old as we have been told, and current Christian and other creationist scientists are already championing that idea without being aware of Fomenko's book. The two groups, creationist scientists and the Russian mathematical analysts corroborate each other. Fascinating.

Of course, all this flies in the face of what we have been told traditionally is the 'proper' chronology of western civilization, and most readers will experience 'cognitive dissonance' in reading this book. It means that our history going backwards from AD1600 becomes progressively more incorrect and unreliable until it cannot be trusted at all... in the space of 700-800 years.

Naturally, the curious, open-minded reader will want to know WHO did this, WHY, and did any of the events we think of as really ancient ever happen?
Dr. Fomenko is a respected scientist/mathematician at Moscow State University who has already answered these questions to the satisfaction of his initially skeptical colleagues. Most of them are now believers, a few still refuse to believe (the usual diehards), and of course the western press has ignored Fomenko's work -- for obvious reasons when you read the book. The ones who perpetrated this chronology ruse have a lot to answer for. They are still with us. That's why this book is a well-kept secret.

I gave the book a 4-star rating because I was unable to check out some of his claims; those I checked were as he said. But if even 1/3 of his claims are true, this punches a big hole in what we think is our history, the meaning of western civilization, our educational process (for repeating the ruse as gospel), and the trustworthiness of the organization that perpetrated this ruse, well-intentioned or not.

This book relates to current research into a Young Earth paradigm, to John Keel's discoveries about our planet, and Fr Malachi Martin's insights (in his now out-of-print books). We are indeed sheep who are manipulated and kept ignorant -- for a reason. While knowing what these men have to say may be the "booby prize" (as in: 'what can you do with this knowledge?'), it will provide interesting reading. Didn't someone say: "...and the Truth will set you free."?? For you to judge if this book contains the truth.

    Book Description

During thirty years of service in The United States Navy, Captain Bill Bruce had occasion to hear many, many stories from U.S. sailors, both officers and enlisted men. His favorite times were experienced while standing at duty stations, a place where a person is assigned to man during emergency periods. For Captain Bruce this was at his Battle Dressing Station. Captain BruceÂ's duties carried him from Newport, R.I. to Annapolis to Washington, D.C, the latter being where he served President Kennedy and VP Lyndon Johnson. Most of his time was spent with the Pacific Fleet with tours aboard aircraft carriers, destroyer tenders and submarine tenders. His overseas shore duties included Japan, the Philippines and Taiwan.

          Book Description

Thomas Reid (1710-1796) is now recognized as one of the towering figures of the Enlightenment. Best known for his published writings on epistemology and moral theory, he was also an accomplished mathematician and natural philosopher, as an earlier volume of his manuscripts edited by Paul Wood for the Edinburgh Reid Edition, Thomas Reid on the Animate Creation, has shown. The Correspondence of Thomas Reid collects all of the known letters to and from Reid in a fully annotated form. Letters already published by Sir William Hamilton and others have been reedited, and roughly half of the letters included appear in print for the first time. Writing in 1802, Reid's disciple and biographer Dugald Stewart doubted that Reid's correspondence "would be generally interesting." This collection proves otherwise, for the letters illuminate virtually every aspect of Reid's life and career and, in some instances, provide us with invaluable evidence about activities otherwise undocumented in his manuscripts or published works. Through his correspondence we can trace Reid's relations with contemporaries such as David Hume and his colleagues at both King's College, Aberdeen, and the University of Glasgow, as well as his engagement with the most controversial philosophical, scientific, and political issues of his day. If anything, the letters assembled here serve as the starting point for understanding Reid and his place in the Enlightenment.

Awakening Intuition explores the idea that learning to use intuition and understanding its connection with memories, dreams, and healing can strengthen your body against disease and enrich your life. Using case studies, author Mona Lisa Shultz portrays her belief that emotions and diseases are linked, what areas of the body are affected by what kinds of feelings, and how we can tune in to the cause of an ailment. Indeed, Schultz describes curing herself of a brain disorder using intuition, and claims she keeps her Graves' disease in remission solely through this work.

Schultz's basic treatise is that the body is continuously sending us messages through symptoms and symbols to get our attention. By heeding these messages and using intuition to decode them, we can make changes that enhance our health and emotional well-being.

Schultz is a physician, neuropsychiatrist, and neuroscientist who has worked as a "medical intuitive" for more than a decade. Far from claiming extraordinary powers, Schultz believes we are all intuitive and can train ourselves to tap into our resources. "It's a real down-to-earth capacity that is available to anyone willing to tune in his transmitter and listen in to what's being broadcast," writes Schultz. "The information it offers us is practical, and it can immeasurably improve and enrich our lives." --Joan Price

                  Book Description

In this groundbreaking, major work on intuition, well-being, and brain science, Dr. Mona Lisa Schulz reveals innovative, fresh, and exciting ways to tap into intuitions that have the power to improve your health and save your life.

Like Spontaneous Healing and Anatomy of the Spirit, this book gives new insights into the intimate connections between the mind, body, and emotions. Like The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat, it provides astonishing new perspectives on what science has uncovered about the powers of the mind and cellular memories. Dr. Schulz relates how her clients have used intuition to gain insight into the underlying meaning of their life challenges, stories that will inspire you to learn your own body's unique perceptive language. By learning to read your sensations, memories, and the signals of distress and disease, you can strengthen your mind-body consciousness and empower yourself to create a healthier, happier life.

This book gives a good explanation of the "nuts and bolts" of how intuition works. I'd like to see more of a "why" explanation added, with credit given to the ultimate Designer of the human brain. Also more of a section on "How To" would have been more helpful.

Wow. Wish I had read this a long time ago. It confirms my own intuitive beliefs and helps me become more responsive and attentive to my own body's wisdom. What an exceptional author, intuitive and person!

4 out of 5 stars Worth Your Time.......2007-06-04

Henry Reed said everything I was going to say, so check out his reader review!

I wrote a digest of this book for intuitive-connections.net and ilovemypsychic.com

                  Some theories covered:

Illness creates holes through which intuition can seep

                  Encoded memories speak in symptoms

We are all intuitive, just need to understand the language in which our body speaks.

Suspension of disbelief--we have to take it on faith that Neil Armstrong and other astronauts walked on the moon.

Dr. Schultz believes that we all have fixed ideas by which we come to live and which we may not even realize are only ideas we've come to accept. Many of these ideas are self-limiting; for example, "I'll always struggle." "There will never be enough money." "I'll always be alone." These ideas become encoded in the cells and affect the body's health and ability to function.

Learned helplessness is one of the factors considered to instigate the onset of disease. Schultz shows us from the scientific perspective that our bodies and minds are wired to give us information and that we can live healthier more abundant lives if we realize the importance of this connection and maintain it rather than avoid it.

                  5 out of 5 stars Intuition Revealed.......2007-04-22

Dr. Mona Lisa Schulz is a physician, practicing psychiatrist and holds a PH.D in neuroanatomy and behavioral science'the study of the brain and intelligence. Beyond this, she is also a respected medical intuitive, providing psychic health readings to clients by phone, using only the vibration of the client's name as her source of information.
In her book Awakening intuition: Using your Body-Mind network insight and healing (Three Rivers Press) Dr. Schulz presents her contention that all significant life experiences are encoded in our cells and these long-forgotten memories continue to influence and form the way we see and respond to the world, though our conscious minds may be unaware of them. Memories and forgotten emotions speak to us in a language unique to each individual. One common way they speak is through illness and disease.
Having suffered from debilitating injury and disease, herself, she proposes that our health and well being will be significantly increased by accepting the idea that intuition not only exists, but is available to all of us. If we learn our body's secret (or symbolic) language, we will have access to our unconscious and may create within it images and feelings that empower and inspire us and avoid being blindly controlled by ideas and emotions that might not serve us. If we learn to listen to the body when it's speaking softly, subtly, it does not have to break down into full-blown disease in order to get our attention. [...]

5 out of 5 stars Mona Lisa has very wise guidance.......2007-03-16

This is wise sourcebook on becoming more astute in intuition while staying grounded in reality. Intuition is a series of networks in the brain and many people need help understanding it and using their discipline to be in command of it. Mona Lisa's Awakening Intuition is rooted in her own discipline as a double doctor and medical intuitive. She is not only astute but her choice use of words are sound guidance in a confusing experience for many. Superb work! This doctor is being true to the Hippocratic Oath - Do no harm.....
