Book Description
Recorded history is a finely-woven magic fabric of intricate lies about events predating the sixteenth century. There is not a single piece of evidence that can be reliably and independently traced back earlier than the eleventh century. This book details events that are substantiated by hard facts and logic, and validated by new astronomical research and statistical analysis of ancient sources.

Calculations are only as good as your numbers.......2007-08-03
Yes, we can all agree that mainstream history is nearly 100% BS due to politics, economics, ego, problems with dating techniques, and various conspiracies. Agreed. But, I've been researching the distinct possibility that human history (in terms of civilizations) are much more ancient than we've been told, so coming across this book was very interesting to me. I wondered how Fomenko could be wrong (if at all) because he is very persuasive in his presentations. Then it dawned on me. If at previous times in prehistory, due to the various catastrophies that are well documented (comets, asteroids, planetary disruptions, plasma discharge, pole reversals, etc) the Earth was in a different position in relation to the sun, different tilt on its axis, different orbit, different rotation (in terms of velocity and DIRECTION), and the continents were in different positions, then would this not cause the ancients to see the sky (constellations) differently? In other words, is Fomenko making erronious assumptions about the physics of the Earth in pre-history, which then corrupt his data with regards to dating the relevant astrology? The last event to seriously disrupt our planet occured roughly 3500 years ago, according to other good researchers, so is it possible Fomenko has been confused by this? The vastly different physics of our planet in the not so distant past may explain this confusion, which is not to say the "mainstream" version of history is correct; on the contrary. I am not an expert in these fields, but wanted to see if this idea could spark discussion.
Pants on fire?.......2007-07-19
Will people ever read before spamming? Yes, Jesuits could not rewrite world history alone, they had help. Anyway, Dr Prof Acad A.Fomenko does not point to jesuits as the driving force of world wide history manipulation in published volumes 1,2,3;, actually he barely mentions the poor devils. Check it with 'Search inside' feature, please. China is rarely mentioned either, in fact, Dr Fomenko is completely eurocentric. Right, his theory contradicts all mainstream schools of history, because in their actual state they are all built on blatantly erroneus chronology. You don't need a mysterious cabal (conspiracy) to falsify history, the falsification is its modus operandi. It is inherent to history(ians) to falsify (distort) events, as it is inherent to humans to boast as it is inherent to power (authority) to legimize itself by referrring to glorious past made to its own order. Dr Prof Fomenko and team have identified scores of instances of such manipulation in Russian, European, etc.. history, and delivered valid statistical proof thereof. His own 'reconstruction' is completely another story. Forget c14 as a valid method of dating. W.Libby has initially discovered a brilliant method of INDEPENDENT dating. Too bad, c14 method has become a joke after a forced marrige with dendrochronology with consensual chronological scale inbuilt. Radiocarbon method can't stand blind tests, but is so very productive as a rubberstamp.
Accepted History & Chronology Must Be Changed. .......2007-04-09
There is no doubt that history as most know it is a sham, & institution's version of History both University & Church is fradulent & inaccurate. Everything was established with an agenda, The real "Dark Ages" are now when we have access to incredible amounts of information past authorities & more important 'common folk' didn't have but our institutions & educators are slow to evolve because of what has ignorantly & arrogantly been taught for too long. This is on many subjects not just Chronology.
For anyone to question "Why would a Mathematician have anything credible to say of History?" The answer is from Dr. Fomenko's preface in the book: "It would be worthwhile to remind the reader that in the XVI-XVII century Chronology was considered to be a subdivision of Mathematics." These volumes could possibly be some of the most important works to date & should be read by everyone with an interest in History, especially professors & educators who have a duty to the public. I have read both books & must say that 'Chronology 1' has some very eye opening & revolutionary information. Even if these volumes are part true the implications are profound & opens the doors to further investigations & questions which must be done. I speak several different lanquages & must say the logic Dr. Fomenko uses with "inflection" of words & words being read from left to right in one region & right to left in another then written backwards, the removal of vowels & get down to basics of words, or different cities & locations having the same name etc. is correct. Vowel usage has always been optional & varied, actually complicating linquistics & study. The first thing one has to understand is that words never had a fixed spelling in history like we do now, the spelling of words was mutable & regional, as well as names & titles of people were vast, varied & changed, NOTHING WAS FIXED or understood linear. Matters of Life & Death as well as financial profiteering yesterday & today were & are made with ignorant, illogical & conspiratorial views of history & reality, it's time people get closer to the Truth & society collectively grow up.
Very Interesting.......2007-03-07
It is a good proposal and I believe it will mature into something even better in the future. I think it deserves to be read.
History as Science Fiction.......2007-01-10
Anatoly Fomenko has written a very intriguing book, full of pictures, charts, and computer 'proof' of his thesis: backwards of AD900 we don't really know what happened or when. Between AD900 and AD1600 there is more certainty, but there is still a lot of fuzzy ground, and things don't get reliable until we get past the 1600's where the printing press made it very difficult for the perpetrators of this timeline manipulation to change anything that had been committed to print. The Dark Ages did not happen. Books were burned for a reason. One organization has doubled the actual length of its existence by expanding the real chronology. Read why.
I had always wondered why Christ died about AD33 and yet men waited until the 11th century to form the Knights Templar, the Cathars, etc and go after the Holy Land by force. Why the 1000 year gap? Turns out there wasn't more than a 10-12 year gap and he proves it using astronomy. This also implies that the planet is not as old as we have been told, and current Christian and other creationist scientists are already championing that idea without being aware of Fomenko's book. The two groups, creationist scientists and the Russian mathematical analysts corroborate each other. Fascinating.
Of course, all this flies in the face of what we have been told traditionally is the 'proper' chronology of western civilization, and most readers will experience 'cognitive dissonance' in reading this book. It means that our history going backwards from AD1600 becomes progressively more incorrect and unreliable until it cannot be trusted at all... in the space of 700-800 years.
Naturally, the curious, open-minded reader will want to know WHO did this, WHY, and did any of the events we think of as really ancient ever happen?
Dr. Fomenko is a respected scientist/mathematician at Moscow State University who has already answered these questions to the satisfaction of his initially skeptical colleagues. Most of them are now believers, a few still refuse to believe (the usual diehards), and of course the western press has ignored Fomenko's work -- for obvious reasons when you read the book. The ones who perpetrated this chronology ruse have a lot to answer for. They are still with us. That's why this book is a well-kept secret.
I gave the book a 4-star rating because I was unable to check out some of his claims; those I checked were as he said. But if even 1/3 of his claims are true, this punches a big hole in what we think is our history, the meaning of western civilization, our educational process (for repeating the ruse as gospel), and the trustworthiness of the organization that perpetrated this ruse, well-intentioned or not.
This book relates to current research into a Young Earth paradigm, to John Keel's discoveries about our planet, and Fr Malachi Martin's insights (in his now out-of-print books). We are indeed sheep who are manipulated and kept ignorant -- for a reason. While knowing what these men have to say may be the "booby prize" (as in: 'what can you do with this knowledge?'), it will provide interesting reading. Didn't someone say: "...and the Truth will set you free."?? For you to judge if this book contains the truth.

Don't Listen to the Abridged Version.......2007-08-19
The abridged audio book is terrible. Loretta Swit's reading is awful - especially the southern accents. It was hard to listen to. I am giving it 2 stars, because I can only hope that the book is so much better and fills in all the big gaps. Why Cassidy ever found Claire attractive is not apparent in the audio version. She always is lying to him. What is attractive about that? I like Sandra Brown's books, but will only listen to unabridged versions in the future. (This one did not come in an unabridged version - that I could find...) Also no more with Loretta Swit as the reader.
Murder and mayhem in the Big Easy.......2006-11-15
Charismatic televangelist Jackson Wilde has targeted Claire Laurent and her lingerie catalog as tools of the devil. When Wilde turns up dead, Claire is the prime suspect, much to New Orleans District Attorney Robert Cassidy's plight, as he's falling for the alluring woman who just might be a murderer. This is foreign territory for a tough as nail prosecutor who never mixes business with pleasure.
While it looks like Claire might have done it (and she's without an alibi), there are a host of others out there with motive to kill not so squeaky clean preacher, including his latest wife and son, who are having a hot affair. But as Robert uncovers yet another lie that Claire has told him, will be able to forgive her?
Featuring a spunky heroine with a backbone, sexy hero, plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing and lots of steamy love scenes, this is Brown at the top of her game, and one of her most sensual and enduring stories. A definite must read!
French Silk.......2006-09-17
Reading this book was almost like watching chocolate pour over a wide expanse, it was smooth reading and very attention grabbing.
What A Story!.......2006-06-15
I am not really a romance/mystery reader, but I was bored and thought I'd give it a whirl. I usually like the drama-filled stories. I can now say that I have been inducted into the reading world of romance/mystery with thanks to Sandra Brown. This was the most exciting, well-written suspense novel I have ever read. I thought I had it figured out well before the middle of the book. But as I neared the end, all of my instincts were snuffed out, considering how I'm a pretty good judge of character. If you're looking for a good suspense, this will satisfy your search.
A real page turner..........2006-06-08
Talk about suspense! Just when you think you know "whodoneit," another suspect comes to mind. This is a real page turner with strong characters who are well defined. I enjoy Ms. Brown's books and this is one of her earlier ones, but absolutely worth purchasing and reading. I could not put it down.

Product Description
Set in atmospheric New Orleans, Brown's latest highly entertaining novel again demonstrates her mastery of the romantic suspense genre. When evangelist Jackson Wilde is murdered in his hotel room, handsome, driven district attorney Robert Cassidy has a long list of suspects. At the top of it are Wilde's young wife, Ariel, and his son, Josh, who have been having an affair. But soon the main suspect is Claire Laurent, the owner of the lingerie company French Silk, whose sexy catalogue Wilde targeted in his campaign against pornography. Claire had a motive; she had collected and then hidden an extensive file of clippings on Wilde and she had attended his service the night he died. Cassidy has one problem with fingering her as the villain: he is falling in love with her. Claire, who battles childhood memories of life with her mentally unstable mother, protects herself by building emotional walls to keep him out. Other characters, including Claire's best friend and business partner, Yasmine, guard their own secrets, which may or may not be related to the murder.

Peter Bowen's unique Montana mysteries featuring cattle-brand inspector and occasional sleuth Gabriel Du Preacute; have always received the critics' highest praise. Now these two highly acclaimed mysteries in the series, Wolf, No Wolf and Notches, are brought together in one volume.
Customer Reviews:
Montana, Its Glories, Its People.......2007-06-18
Wolf/No Wolf is on the sad juxtoposition of those who have lived on the land and loved it, trying to eke out a living, and those who would like to return the Earth to its natural wonder. Interesting to point out that some environmentalists might be a tiny bit control-oriented, and that those against them may have agendas other than just protecting a way of life. Notches takes up serial killers, who prey on young people who may have been bounced from home or run from an abusive situation and are not just spoiled brats. Du Pre's solution to problems recalls Tony Hillerman's Jim Chee and Ellis Peters's Cadfael in which justice prevails, perhaps ignoring externally-applied laws. Additional is telling of a way of life of the Metis, of whom I never learned in school.
Notches is the book worth reading!.......2003-12-16
Notches is the book that saved me from giving this whole thing a bad review.
Wolf, No Wolf is about how a bunch of tree huggers (yes I have Montana blood in me!) end up dying. Du Pre and Bart (the sheriff in this book) know its one of the locals, but they aren't sure who. Benetsee is his mysterious self and theres a couple of new characters that play a fairly large role. They don't last long, but they are interesting to see. Bart and Du Pre wrap this case up in usual fashion.
Although some might think that Notches is a bit grim, I did enjoy it. Notches is the story of how Du Pre takes matters into his own hands regarding two serial murder's (skinned little girls keep showing up along Highway 2 and another highway that runs north and south...can't remember the name right now). This book is a quick read and the pace keeps things moving along.
Four-legged and two-legged predators.......2003-12-14
"Wolf, No Wolf" will never make the Sierra Club's list of recommended reading. It is third in a series of mysteries starring Gabriel Du Pré, the Métis descendant of French Voyageurs and Plains Indians, and it is rabidly anti-environmentalist and pro-rancher.
"Notches" is the fourth in the series, and while the former features four-legged predators, the latter concerns itself with the two-legged variety.
Rabid or not, such is the power of Bowen's writing and the nobility of his characters in "Wolf, No Wolf" that even clean, green bunny-huggers (like me) might end up voting for the ranchers and against the re-introduction of wolves into Big Sky Country at story's end.
All of the regulars at Touissant Bar are part of the action. Du Pré, master fiddler and part-time brand inspector is cast in the role of peacemaker. With help from his friends, the Shaman Benetsee, Bart the rich-guy-turned-sheriff, Du Pré's long-time mistress, Madelaine, and Booger Tom, the ancient, homicidal cowhand, he braves avalanches, gunfire, and false medicine men in order to prevent open warfare between the ranchers and the Earth First! crowd.
There are good ranchers, and there are really evil ranchers who sell dead horses for dogmeat.
There are good FBI agents (not very many) who are either Montanans and/or part Amerindian. The vast majority of agents are feeble, clueless, and from out-of-state. Some of them are so dim-witted as to try and arrest the Shaman Benetsee, who plays a wonderful joke on them with his coyotes.
All of the environmentalists, New Age mystics, and Yuppies in "Wolf, No Wolf" are easily identified by their expensive, crassly-colored, mail-order garments of many pockets. They are even dumber than the FBI agents, and are easily led astray, even unto death, by the book's villains.
And die they do, by avalanche and grizzly, by gunshot and knife, and by freezing to death in Alberta Clippers. The ranchers rescue as many as they can, but winter in Montana is truly hell-frozen-over. Some of Bowen's leanest, most vivid prose is devoted to descriptions of out-landers and cattle that venture out into the jaws of a Blue Northerly.
Better to stay in the Touissant Bar and drink fizzy, pink, screw-top wine, and listen to Du Pré fiddle the sad, old Voyageur songs.
On the other hand, if you're still in the mood for mayhem, follow him into "Notches" where he is asked to assist police on the trail of two serial killers.
There are good reasons why the police might not want Du Pré at the scene of a crime. He spits a lot as he circles the corpse, rolls his own cigarettes and mashes them out beneath his boot heel. A forensic specialist would find traces of him all over the scene. In "Notches," he even hides evidence because he wants to track a killer without interference from the FBI.
On the plus side, nothing at the scene escapes him. If he is called in to examine one body, he may find two others near by that no one else has noticed--which is exactly what occurs in "Notches." Someone has been killing girls and dumping them "like old guts in the brush for the coyotes to eat," according to Du Pré's long-time mistress, Madelaine.
There are two serial killers on the loose in "Notches" which makes for a confusing plot. There are also two FBI agents (see above "Wolf, No Wolf") who add to the scenery, but don't do much more than engage in slanging matches with Du Pré. Madelaine finally presses Du Pré into tracking the killers down when her own daughter runs away from home.
Du Pré is laconic to the point of partial sentences, but the interrupted staccato of his speech is a perfect counterpoint to the harsh Montana landscape and to the sometimes abbreviated lives of its inhabitants. Over 150 corpses form an even grimmer than usual backdrop to Du Pré's musings on the long history of his people and the land.
"Notches" is not so much a murder mystery as it is a complex landscape of hell from the pen of a Montanan Hieronymus Bosch.

Customer Reviews:
I'm glad I bought it........2007-09-28
I'm glad I came across this book and trusted the reviews I saw that was attached with this book. It's very different from a lot of other pregnancy books. It gives me more information on how I should care for my unborn child. It makes being a first time mummy feel more fulfilling and assured. Knowing what to do in order to give my baby the best in his/her future life. I really like to spread the word to the whole world of mummies that they should read this book. And thank you doc for writing this great book.
This is a life changing Program!!.......2004-11-05
I was introduced to Dr. Wirth's work at a convention. His whole pregnancy approach to building a better life for the baby through the "Peaceful Womb" and getting Dad and Mom fully involved with making time for the baby before the baby is born, was a new concept to most in the lecture. The idea of "Fetal Love Breaks" every day, the Exercise videos and relaxing CDs that go with the program are great. I really enjoyed attending the Prenatal Parenting Program classes, too. Until you experience Dr. Wirth's peaceful concept of creating greater neurological development in the baby's brain through greater couple communication, it is difficult to understand how very deeply we are involved daily with the cellular creation of this baby. Thank you Dr. Wirth for creating the Prenatal Parenting Program with all the Classes, books, workbooks, tapes and CD's to support our learning about the importance of conscious creation and birth of the peaceful child. I know it has changed my life and the lives of many babies, children and mothers.
This book changed my pregnancy/life.......2003-07-26
Without getting into too many details of my pregnancy and why it was so stressful, I want to share how much this book meant to me. I was suddenly single 4 mos into my pregnancy and cried for the next 2 months solid. I accidently came across this book while I was heading for the self-help section at a bookstore and the title jumped out at me. It caused a complete 180 degree change in my attitude. It helped me to focus on "parenting my unborn daughter". Every emotion I experienced, I shared with my daughter, and I had to control those emotions and provide her with the best environment to grow. It helped me to understand the development, both physical and mental, of my daughter.I read quite a few baby books (What to expect... etc.) while I was pregnant, but this was so different, and I learned more of what was happening inside me and inside of my daughter in this one book. I also learned how to parent the child before she was even born. I learned how to express my love (and the very real affects of my love on my daughter) to someone who couldn't show it back yet. I learned more about myself. I buy this book for every new parent out there. My daughter is now 16 mos old, and I still read it and get something out of it everytime.
A must Read for all Prenant Moms.......2002-09-24
What a beautiful start for the pregnant Mom...even one who has had other children, of which I am one. Dr. Wirth's passion for his subject comes through on every page. I felt as if he was in my home with me, guiding me, caring deeply about the outcome of my pregnancy and wanting the best for my unborn child. Teaching me how to be at my personal best for my unborn child. The subject matter is well researched and though if contains necessary clinical information, it is a most readable book. I thank you, Dr. Wirth and my young unborn infant thanks you!
wonderful information for a nation that needs it.......2002-04-16
This is not a shove-religion-down-your-throat book at all! The author states that he uses God, while readers can insert their own word, belief, etc. And he does not advocate women staying in the home - he simply suggests ways to ease your stress.
There is a great deal of important information in this book that every pregnant American women should read. American women are too stressed and this is leading to crime and violence - just read a little bit about European women and their practices and benefits. No wonder American women are stressed - the government does nothing to help them raise future generations!
Wake up! Start loving your baby before it's born.
