Granulation technology is important to the manufacturing of many bioproducts, such as detergent enzymes (biologically-derived products) and pharmaceuticals (bioactive products). This book describes the granulation of bioproducts through traditional approaches, such as fluidized bed granulation, spray drying, high-shear granulation and extrusion-spheronization, in addition to the application of newer approaches such as microencapsulation and liquid phase granulation. Freeze drying is also covered, which is the preferred mode for producing granular starter cultures used in the dairy industry. In addition to discussions regarding the full spectrum of suitable granulation processes, post-granulation steps such as drying (for wet processes) and coating are explained. The slant of the book is practical, which is borne out by chapters regarding the various industrial processes used to manufacture granular detergent enzymes and immobilized glucose isomerase and the selection of proper granulation processes for specific applications. Wonderful Book.......2003-10-23

Muki Betser tells an intense account of his experiences as one of Israel's greatest commandos. Awesome book highly recommended. I read it in one day - couldn't put it down. Covers his experience in Shaked, Tsanchanim, and Sayeret Matkal - bascially starting from 1967. Despite the fact that his political views are outdated, (i wonder if he still thinks the same) this is a man who gave his entire life for the state of Israel.

I read this one a while ago, but recent events brought it back into the forefront of the mind. I remember that this was a really good book and gave me a perspective of the Israeli military that I never saw before. I knew they were very good, but I had no idea.
I just hope that we don't have to resort to the level of security that they have in Israel or Northern Ireland. Also, this book makes me want to read other books about the Israeli military.

I have never read a book that was more addicting than the SECRET SOLDIER. I have read it 4 times and I am still amazed at what the IDF can do. The missions that are described within this book will blow your mind from Entebbe to Prime Minister Ehud Barak running through the streets if Beirut in a dress and firing an Uzi. We all know everybody will die someday, but it's very difficult to accept the fact that one of our family died or will die soon, especially for a child. In this work, it's well described how he feels and how he gets over his father's death. Ms.Carrol says that the death is the part of life. She also says we should be accostomed to the death in the life so we should know how to remember and how to look back upon the days when we spent with the dead. That's exactly to live with them in real life.

She ýfocuses on the experience of being with someone who is sick or dying, and encourages the reader to move to a new level of connection and relationship with the one they love.ý Orsborn wrote it following her own experience with a personal health crisis and after a vigil with her critically-ill father.

A master teacher and theologian, Orsborn has written ten other books applying spiritual philosophy to the challenges of life.

She begins with a collection of inspirational readings, prayers, and affirmations from a variety of cultures and traditions. Brief essays from her personal experiences follow each of these, along with suggestions as to individuals may incorporate them in their own lives.

When my favorite aunt was dying, I didn't know how to deal with the pain and the emotion. Especially in the last few months when I was sitting there with her. This book helped both of us to come to terms with the big step that would be taken in both of our lives. I would reccomend this to anyone who is losing or has lost a loved one.
