Description:
The application of micellar systems has been growing during the last years because of their importance in various practical situations. Continued development of their application is necessary. If the principal economic interest of microemulsions is for some time enhanced oil recovery, the following also have significant applications such as pharmaceutical preparations, painting, and products for engine lubrication. The effect of variation in composition of anionic surfactants (@a oleifin sulfonates) and the presence of a water-soluble charged polymer (Xanthan gum) and an uncharged polymer [poly (ethylene glycol)] on the phase behaviour of pseudo- ternary systems of water-oil surfactants was investigated. Several domains were observed when the composition of surfactants and cosurfactants (e.g., pentanol) in a mixture is varied. The appearance of these domains in the phase diagram has been attributed to the formation of different Winsor systems.

La undécima edición en español del Sears Zemanski es una obra maravillosa. La física nunca tuvo una presentación tan atractiva. Impreso en papel de calidad, lleno de ilustraciones y fotografías en brillantes colores, y fundamentalmente con una exposición clara y rigurosa de los conceptos, el libro es una delicia. El divertido sentido del humor de los autores se encuentra en muchas de sus páginas. Esta edición marca una diferencia notable con otros textos de física, especialmente con los antiguos, en los que el color estaba ausente y los dibujos escasos. Aun cuando es una obra concebida para estudiantes universitarios, creo que los estudiantes de secundaria la encontrarán muy interesante como libro de consulta. De hecho, los lectores hispanos encontrarán que el Sears es mas claro y atractivo que muchos libros de física para estudiantes pre universitarios.

I never received this book, I also send back 2 books (Medical Terminology) as for some reason the same book was ordered 3 times and charged 3 times to my account. I got tired of calling and trying to get a refund, one book got returned to me saying that it wasn't Amazons, the other you kept it and never got a refund. I am not happy wiht this type of service, I will not buy any more books from Amazons and I am telling everyone how is it that Amazon's works. I will follow up with the DA to investigate to see if that is how Amazons does business with all customers of this is was just bad luck, but I never received a response from Amazons, therefore I might take other ways to investigate.

La novela es cruda, incluso algunos podrian encontrar algo vulgar ciertas partes, pero el autor se las ingenia para narrar esos episodios con una harmonia de palabras que hasta el mas sensible no los encontrara ofensivos. La recomiendo a todos los admiradores de autores Latinoamericanos.
