The 2007 Import and Export Market for Heterocyclic Compounds with Nitrogen Hetero-Atom(s) Only, Containing a Quinoline or Isoquinoline Ring-System Not Further Fused in China
Philip M. Parker Manufacturer: ICON Group International, Inc. ProductGroup: Book Binding: Paperback ASIN: 0497608561 Release Date: 2006-10-24 |
Book Description
On the demand side, exporters and strategic planners focusing on heterocyclic compounds with nitrogen hetero-atom(s) only, containing a quinoline or isoquinoline ring-system not further fused in China face a number of questions. Which countries are supplying heterocyclic compounds with nitrogen hetero-atom(s) only, containing a quinoline or isoquinoline ring-system not further fused to China? How important is China compared to others in terms of the entire global and regional market? How much do the imports of heterocyclic compounds with nitrogen hetero-atom(s) only, containing a quinoline or isoquinoline ring-system not further fused vary from one country of origin to another in China? On the supply side, China also exports heterocyclic compounds with nitrogen hetero-atom(s) only, containing a quinoline or isoquinoline ring-system not further fused. Which countries receive the most exports from China? How are these exports concentrated across buyers? What is the value of these exports and which countries are the largest buyers? This report was created for strategic planners, international marketing executives and import/export managers who are concerned with the market for heterocyclic compounds with nitrogen hetero-atom(s) only, containing a quinoline or isoquinoline ring-system not further fused in China. With the globalization of this market, managers can no longer be contented with a local view. Nor can managers be contented with out-of-date statistics which appear several years after the fact. I have developed a methodology, based on macroeconomic and trade models, to estimate the market for heterocyclic compounds with nitrogen hetero-atom(s) only, containing a quinoline or isoquinoline ring-system not further fused for those countries serving China via exports, or supplying from China via imports. It does so for the current year based on a variety of key historical indicators and econometric models. In what follows, Chapter 2 begins by summarizing where China fits into the world market for imported and exported heterocyclic compounds with nitrogen hetero-atom(s) only, containing a quinoline or isoquinoline ring-system not further fused. The total level of imports and exports on a worldwide basis, and those for China in particular, is estimated using a model which aggregates across over 150 key country markets and projects these to the current year. From there, each country represents a percent of the world market. This market is served from a number of competitive countries of origin. Based on both demand- and supply-side dynamics, market shares by country of origin are then calculated across each country market destination. These shares lead to a volume of import and export values for each country and are aggregated to regional and world totals. In doing so, we are able to obtain maximum likelihood estimates of both the value of each market and the share that China is likely to receive this year. From these figures, rankings are calculated to allow managers to prioritize China compared to other major country markets. In this way, all the figures provided in this report are forecasts that can be combined with internal information sources for strategic planning purposes.

Isoquinoline Alkaloids (Chemistry and Biochemistry of Organic Natural Products)
K. W. Bentley Manufacturer: CRC ProductGroup: Book Binding: Hardcover ASIN: 905702229X |
Book Description
The Isoquinoline Alkaloids presents an in-depth review of 22-sub groups of isoquinoline alkaloids all related to their common origin from the amino-acids phenylalanine and tyrosine. The coverage is not intended to be comprehensive and encyclopaedic, but all of the salient features of the elucidation of structures, structural variation, stereochemistry, chemical reactions, syntheses, biogenetic origins and relationships, and pharmacology are covered, and an extensive bibliography of original papers is provided to assist further detailed study. The opening chapter comprises a review of the formation of alkaloids from amino-acids and the general methods of structural degradation used in the definitive elucidations of structures. Two final chapters cover napthylisoquinolines, which are biogenetically distinct from those discussed in earlier chapters, and miscellaneous natural products that are rationally included with other groups. This book should be of interest to graduates and researchers in the field of organic chemistry, natural product chemistry and biochemistry.

Isoquinoline Alkaloids (Handbook of Natural Products Data)
A.U. Rahman Manufacturer: Elsevier Science ProductGroup: Book Binding: Hardcover ASIN: 044481888X |
Book Description
Isoquinoline alkaloids represent one of the two largest groups of alkaloids, the other being indole alkaloids. The present volume, which is the third of this series, describes the spectral data of about 700 isoquinoline alkaloids and covers the literature up to 1992. The spectral data of the remaining classes of isoquinoline alkaloids will be published in another volume within a year. The compounds are arranged according to their structural types in various subclasses. Within each subclass they are arranged in order of increasing molecular weight. Compounds in the same subclass and having the same molecular weight are arranged in order of increasing carbon number.
The UV, IR, 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR spectral data are given in descending orders of magnitude. All &egr; values in the UV spectra have been converted to log &egr;. The chemical shifts in the 1H-NMR spectral data are presented in ppm and the chemical shifts in the older data published in &tgr; values have been converted to &dgr; values to ensure uniformity of format. The protons and carbons to which the data refers have been italicised. If any of the data given is that of a salt (e.g. hydrochloride) then this is indicated in brackets before the data. If the compounds are known by more than one name, the older names are given in brackets after the newer one. Spectral data of simple derivatives of compounds are also reported, but only if the data for acetyl, benzoyl, methyl and ethyl derivatives are given. The numbering systems used are given both at the beginning of each sub-class as well as at the end of the book. Compound, molecular formula, molecular weight, plant sources and compound-type indices are also included which should enhance the utility of the book.

Book Description
An American legend rewrites a remarkably contemporary Adam and Eve. In tackling the first three chapters of Genesis, Twain creates a story of The First Couple who are psychologically familiar to even 21st Century Americans. He wrote the Diaries as a tribute to his own marriage, so they are also his most heartfelt and personal work. Between 1893 and 1906, he attempted six versions; only these satisfied him and were published in his lifetime. This expanded edition is beautifully illustrated faithful to Twain's final rewrites faithful to Twain's wish that the two tales be "bound together" and includes passages published for the first time.

Book Description
In The Diary of Adam and Eve, master storyteller Mark Twain hilariously recreates the very first days of Creation. Adam, portrayed by Twain as something of a recluse, is a man ill–prepared for the arrival of Eve, a talkative, emotional, highly charged female. Yet, in time, and after many a conflict, they gradually learn to live together, realizing that men and women can, in fact, exist in harmony. It is presented here with six additional pieces creating a unique omnibus of Twain’s Adamic tales.Customer Reviews:

A Warm Odysssey of Togetherness.......2000-01-11
Throughout the entire delicious epic of the story, the two characters grow from unaware children to mature humans, able to make a living together through all difficulties.
Adam, on one side, starts regarding Eve in a critical way that reminds the rigorousness of an engineer and ends warmly with the calm passion given by a lifetime of togetherness.
Eve, on the other, depicted here as the essential expression of the womanhood, appears as a living miracle of contradictions. She is so playful, sunny, innocent and wildly alive, that Adam finally realizes he's happy to be sentenced to love her forever. It is worth saying that even the Sin is reconsidered here rather as an abuse of Eve's ingenuity than an assumed trespassing...
The friendly, optimistic approach to life, the art of putting strong, fundamental feelings into everyday's words, the gentle humor far from cheap melodrama, the subtle metaphor of the joy of living arising from each chapter made me to consider this novel the most touchy love story ever written.
